Article Synopsis
  • This study investigates the effects of Panax notoginseng saponins (PNS) on diabetic kidney disease (DKD) using network pharmacology, molecular docking, and animal experiments.
  • Key targets identified for PNS include AKT1, STAT3, and others, with relevant pathways related to cancer and signaling highlighted in the analysis.
  • Animal trials showed that PNS significantly lowered blood glucose levels and improved kidney damage in diabetic mice, indicating its potential therapeutic effect on DKD.

Genes associated with sodium fluoride-induced human osteoblast apoptosis.

Int J Clin Exp Med

November 2015

Department of Histology & Embryology, Preclinical Institute, Xinjiang Medical University Urumqi 830011, China.

This study aims to explore the potential pathways and molecular characteristics of fluorine-induced osteoblast apoptosis. In vitro fluorine-induced model was established with an osteogenesis sarcoma cell line Saos-2. Then flow cytometry was used to determine the mitochondrial membrane potential at 24 h after the intervention.

To investigate the K-ras genetic mutation status in colorectal cancer patients, compare the difference of K-ras genetic mutation rate in Han and Uygur nationality and analyze the influencing factor. 91 cases (52 cases of Han nationality and 39 cases of Uygur nationality) of colorectal biopsy or surgical ablation pathology specimen from the first affiliated hospital of Xinjiang Medical University during January, 2010 to March, 2013 were collected to detect the 12th and 13th code mutation status of K-ras gene exon 2 with pyrosequencing method and compare the difference of K-ras gene mutation rate between Han and Uygur nationality patients. Single factor analysis and multiple factor logistic regression analysis were utilized to analyze the influencing factor for K-ras genetic mutation.

Soluble costimulatory molecule sTim3 regulates the differentiation of Th1 and Th2 in patients with unexplained recurrent spontaneous abortion.

Int J Clin Exp Med

August 2015

Reproductive Medicine Center, First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University Urumqi 830011, Xinjiang, P. R. China ; Department of Immunology, School of Preclinical Medicine of Xinjiang Medical University Urumqi 830011, Xinjiang, P. R. China.

This study is to investigate the mechanism of unexplained recurrent spontaneous abortion (URSA). A total of 35 cases of URSA patients (URSA group), 20 cases with normal pregnancy (normal pregnancy group) and 20 healthy non-pregnancy candidates (healthy control group) were enrolled in this study. Enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) method was used for detection of serum soluble Tim-3 (sTim3) and Galectin-9.

Objective: This study is to investigate the effects of mesenchymal stem cell (MSC) transplantation in burn treatment.

Methods: Wharton's Jelly was stripped from neonatal umbilical cord, and human umbilical cord MSCs were then cultured. Burn models were constructed in male SD rats weighted at 200±5 g, and the rats were randomly divided into control and MSCs transplantation groups.

The application of reverse tubular medial upper arm flap in the reconstruction of ripped facial defects.

Int J Clin Exp Med

December 2014

State Key Laboratory Incubation Base of Xinjiang Major Diseases Research, Clinical Medical Research Institute, The First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University Urumqi 830011, Xinjiang, P. R. China.

Reverse medial upper arm flap is usually utilized in the reconstruction of defects in soft tissues of head and facial skin and is with good clinical efficacy. However, it has not been used in the reconstruction of ripped defects. In this study, we used the reverse tubular medial upper arm flap to repair the ripped facial defects.

This study was to examine whether mast cell chymase exists in human keloids and exerts its profibrotic effect via transforming growth factor-β1/Smad signaling pathway. The number of mast cells and the expression levels of chymase in keloids and normal skin were examined by immunohistochemistry assays. The mRNA expression and activity changes of chymase in keloids and normal skin were determined by real-time quantitative PCR and radioimmunoassay.
