Prostate cancer is a major contributor to male mortality worldwide. In this study, we revealed that Ankyrin Repeat and SOCS Box Containing 1 (ASB1) expression was significantly decreased in prostate cancer tissues, correlating strongly with poor patient prognosis. Notably, the group with low ASB1 expression exhibited an increased proportion of M2 macrophages and showed resistance to immune checkpoint inhibitors and cisplatin, but remained sensitive to androgen-receptor-targeting drug bicalutamide.

Methods: Adult patients on ECPR admitted to the Department of Emergency in the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University from May 2015 to December 2020 were included. Net fluid balance for consecutive 4 days after ECPR was recorded.

Safety and efficacy of remifentanil-propofol combination on "muscle relaxant-free" general anesthesia for therapeutic endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography: a randomized controlled trial.

Objective: To prospectively evaluate the safety and efficacy of a "muscle relaxant-free" general anesthesia using a combination of remifentanil and propofol, compared to propofol-based monitored anesthesia care and conventional general anesthesia during therapeutic endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP).

Objective: Gamma Knife stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) is an effective therapeutic option for unresectable brainstem metastases. Currently, staged stereotactic radiosurgery (SSRS) has become available for large brainstem metastases（≥ 1 cm） despite the limitation of peritumoral edema. The authors developed the so-called "sandwich therapy" which integrated 2-stage stereotactic radiosurgery (2-SSRS) with bevacizumab for peritumoral edema reduction and local control of large brainstem metastases.

Hepcidin as a prognostic biomarker in clear cell renal cell carcinoma.

Hepcidin is a pivotal modulator of iron metabolism involved in human cancers; however, the biological significance of hepcidin in ccRCC remains to be fully understood. Exosomes are extracellular vesicles with unique membrane markers and components that participate in cellular communication. The contents of exosomes, including growth factors, microRNAs, long noncoding RNAs, and circular RNAs (circRNAs), have been recognized as prognostic biomarkers and promote cancer progression through cancer cell growth, metastasis, angiogenesis, and cancer development. One of the components of exosomes, circRNAs, are covalently closed and prevented from degrading, which results in their continually accumulating in exosomes.

Comprehensive study of a novel immune-related lncRNA for prognosis and drug treatment of cervical squamous cell carcinoma.

Through the integration of TCGA data, a total of 266 immune-related lncRNAs were obtained. We defined all samples as an entire set, and randomly divided them into train set and test set at a ratio of 1:1.

The biomarker p16 plays a role in aging and is upregulated in aged organs and cells, including bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (BM-MSCs), which play a leading role in fracture healing. Several studies have reported delayed fracture healing in geriatric mice. However, the relationship between p16 expression and fracture healing in geriatric mice remains poorly understood.

Method: A total of 40 patients with idiopathic arrhythmias originated from RVOT (28 PVCs/12 VT) were enrolled in the study group. The control group consisted of five patients with supraventricular tachycardia (SVT).
