Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of acupoint thread-embedding at fat layer for abdominal obesity and its effects on glucose and lipid metabolism.
Methods: Ninety-six patients with abdominal obesity were randomly divided into an acupoint embedding group (48 cases, 3 cases dropped out) and a sham embedding group (48 cases, 3 cases dropped out). Both groups received lifestyle interventions as basic treatment.

Objectives: To observe the clinical efficacy of acupuncture in treating erectile dysfunction (ED).
Methods: A total of 64 ED patients were randomly divided into an acupuncture group (32 cases, 2 case dropped out) and a western medication group (32 cases, 2 cases dropped out). In the acupuncture group, acupuncture treatment was applied at Baihui (GV 20), Qihai (CV 6), Guanyuan (CV 4), Zhongji (CV 3), Dahe (KI 12), Qugu (CV 2), Zusanli (ST 36), and etc.

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of bamboo-based medicinal moxibustion for chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS), and to preliminarily explore its action mechanism.
Methods: Sixty-four patients with CFS were randomly divided into a moxibustion group (32 cases, 1 case dropped off, 1 case excluded) and an acupuncture group (32 cases, 2 cases dropped off). The patients in the moxibustion group were treated with bamboo-based medicinal moxibustion, while the patients in the acupuncture group were treated with routine acupuncture.

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of Miao medicinal crossbow acupuncture therapy as adjuvant treatment for lung cancer pain based on oxycodone hydrochloride extended-release tablet.
Methods: A total of 60 patients with lung cancer pain were randomized into an observation group (30 cases, 1 case dropped off) and a control group (30 cases). In the control group, oxycodone hydrochloride extended-release tablet was given orally, 10 mg a time, once every 12 hours.

This meta-analysis was conducted to evaluate the efficacy and safety of the addition of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCMs) to capecitabine-based regimens for colorectal cancer (CRC) in term of tumor. The eight electronic databases including Cochrane Library, PubMed, Web of Science (WOS), Excerpt Medica Database (Embase), Chinese Biomedical Literature Database (CBM), China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), Chinese Science and Technology Journals (CQVIP), and Wanfang Database were systematically searched for eligible studies from their inception to March 2021. Thirty-nine randomized controlled trials were involved in this study, and all the data were analyzed by Review Manager 5.

Yunnan Baiyao (YNBY), a traditional Chinese medicine formulae, has some significant properties including activating blood circulation to dissipate blood stasis (Huo-Xue-Hua-Yu), eliminating swelling and alleviating pain (Xiao-Zhong-Zhi-Tong), and eliminating necrotic tissues and promoting granulation (Qu-Fu-Sheng-Ji). This paper intends to provide a comprehensive and critical analysis of studies on YNBY, proposing new possible therapeutic directions of this formula. Relevant data on YNBY were retrieved from available databases and a hand-search by searching the keywords such as "Yunnan Baiyao," "pharmacology," "toxicity," and "clinical applications.

Objective: To prove the therapeutic effect of auricular intradermal needling and auricular point sticking on primary dysmenorrhea (PD), and to explore its mechanism.
Methods: A total of 90 patients with PD were randomized into an auricular intradermal needling group, an auricular point sticking group and a placebo group, 30 cases in each one. Neishengzhiqi (TF), Neifenmi (CO), Shenmen (TF), Shen (CO), Jiaogan (AH), Gan (CO) and Pizhixia (AT) were selected in the 3 groups, intradermal needling and cowherb seed sticking were applied respectively in the auricular intradermal needling group and the auricular point sticking group, adhesive tape without needle was stuck in the placebo group.

The incidence rate of acute pancreatitis (AP) caused by hyperlipidemia is increasing year by year. The primary treatment goal is to reduce blood lipids rapidly. On the theory of "Six-hollow-organs to be unblocked" we used dachengqi decoction (original prescription of Zhang Zhongjing in Shanghan Lun) to block the peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor γ (PPARG) pathway and rapidly reduce blood lipid to achieve the purpose of treating hyperlipidemic acute pancreatitis (HLAP).
