Resistant hypertension (RH) may cause severe target organ damage and poses significant challenges in the field of hypertension prevention and treatment. Mining biological characteristics is crucial for exploring the pathogenesis of RH and for early diagnosis and treatment. Although several single-omics studies have been conducted on RH, its complex pathogenesis has only been partially elucidated.

Objective: To explore the effectiveness of combining an artificial intelligence (AI) film reading system with a cervical liquid-based ThinPrep cytology test (TCT) in cervical cancer screening.

Methods: A total of 1200 adult women who underwent cervical cancer screening in the Gynecology Department of The Fifth People's Hospital of Jinan from July 2022 to June 2023 were included in the study. All participants underwent TCT followed by both manual and AI examination.

Herein, we report that B7-H3 upregulated the epidermal growth factor heparin-binding epidermal growth factor (HB-EGF), likely by regulating hypoxia-inducible factor 1α (HIF-1α) and thereby promoting the progression of CRC.

The present case-control study enrolled 70 patients with diabetes, including 31 with diabetic kidney disease (DKD group), 39 without DKD (non-DKD group) and 30 healthy controls.
