Objective: The growth of uterine leiomyomas is regulated by progesterone, although the underlying molecular mechanisms are not fully understood.
Methods: Primary leiomyoma cells were isolated by standard method from 16 samples of uterine leiomyoma tissue. Uterine leiomyoma explants and primary leiomyoma cell cultures were exposed to progesterone in concentrations of 0.

The influence of humoral factors on the state of hemostasis in nonpregnant and pregnant women. There were 70 women aged from 22 to 32 years, of which the 1st group consisted of 50 patients with physiological pregnancy at term gestation 38-40 weeks, the 2nd group - 20 healthy non-pregnant women. All women was measured in the plasma levels of e-NOS, cGMP, PF4, β-TG, adrenaline and noradrenaline by ELISA, in serum NOx, indicators of gemostaziogramma.

In patients with different clinical variants of uterine leiomyoma (large or small size, presence or absence of intensive proliferation of tumor cells) the comparative analysis of endometrial CD56+ natural killers (NK) activation was carried out. The relative content of CD56+ cells, expressing of CD158a and CD158i molecules from KIR (killer immunoglobuline-like receptors) family, interferon γ (IFNγ) and transforming growth factor β1 (TGFβ1), was estimated by flow cytometry method. It was found that in the endometrium of all patients with uterine leiomyoma independently of tumor size the content of CD56+ cells and the amount of NK, expressing both activating (CD158i) and inhibitory (CD158a) receptors, were increased.

The aim of this work was to detail the mechanisms of the interaction of decidual CD56+ NK, infiltrating the maternal part of placenta, and trophoblast cells of foetal origin. Samples of the endometrial tissue from 13 healthy non-pregnant women, 37 placentas, obtained after medical abortion of viable pregnancy at 7-10 weeks of gestation, and 26 samples of placentas from first-trimester recurrent spontaneous abortion (RSA) were used as the material for investigation.

The aim of the present work was to compare in vitro the possibility of application of unmodified silica nanoparticles (UMNPs) and modified by aminopropyl groups silica nanoparticles (AMNPs) for topical delivery of immunomodulatory drug GMDP to the peritoneal macrophages of women with endometriosis. The absence of cytotoxic effect and high cellular uptake was demonstrated for both types of silica nanoparticles. The immobilization of GMDP on the UMNPs led to the suppression of the stimulatory effect of GMDP on the membrane expression of scavenger receptors SR-AI and SR-B, mRNAs expression of NOD2 and RAGE, and synthesis of proteolytic enzyme MMP-9 and its inhibitor TIMP-1.
