Pilot testing of the International Council of Cardiovascular Prevention and Rehabilitation Registry.

The International Council of Cardiovascular Prevention and Rehabilitation developed an International Cardiac Rehabilitation (CR) Registry (ICRR) to support CR programs in low-resource settings to optimize care provision and patient outcomes. This study assessed implementation of the ICRR, site data steward experience with on-boarding and data entry, and patient acceptability. Multimethod observational pilot involves (I) analysis of ICRR data from three centers (Iran, Pakistan, and Qatar) from inception to May 2022, (II) focus group with on-boarded site data stewards (also from Mexico and India), and (III) semistructured interviews with participating patients.

Stress at Home and Female Gender Are Significantly Associated With Non-adherence and Poor Illness Perception Among Patients With Rheumatoid Arthritis.

Aims We aimed to assess the level of non-adherence and poor illness perception among rheumatoid arthritis (RA) patients. Additionally, we examined their associations with clinical indicators and outcomes. Methods This was a cross-sectional study conducted using data collected at the time of patient enrolment in the Pakistan Registry of Rheumatic Diseases (PRIME) registry.

Elevated CRP even at the first visit to a rheumatologist is associated with long-term poor outcomes in patients with psoriatic arthritis.

Objectives: Little is known about the long-term association of CRP levels during psoriatic arthritis (PsA) disease course. In this study, we examined whether raised CRP over the disease course is associated with worse outcome measures in a well-characterised PsA cohort with a long-term follow up.

Methods: A cohort of 283 PsA patients (fulfilling CASPAR criteria) was evaluated.

Bristol rheumatoid arthritis fatigue scale is valid in patients with psoriatic arthritis and is associated with overall severe disease and higher comorbidities.

Aims: To (1) determine the reliability and validity of the Bristol Rheumatoid Arthritis Fatigue scale (BRAF-NRS) in patients with psoriatic arthritis (PsA) and (2) examine possible clinical associations of worse fatigue in PsA.

Methods: Study phase 1: BRAF-NRS scale validation cohort. A consecutive cohort of 70 PsA patients was recruited to complete the 3-item BRAF-NRS and the 13-item Functional Assessment of Chronic Illness Therapy-Fatigue (FACIT-F) questionnaires, alongside disease activity assessment.
