Background: Gastric cancer remains a significant global health issue due to its aggressive nature and high heterogeneity, making early detection and prevention critical. Obesity and smoking are established risk factors that significantly contribute to the development of gastric cancer. Despite the clear links between these risk factors and the disease, there is a lack of targeted educational interventions that address these behaviors.

Background: Moral intelligence is a significant and influential factor in the delivery of principled and high-quality care. This is because moral intelligence is the ability to recognize and be sensitive to moral issues, which contributes to the organization of appropriate behavior in the face of moral issues. This is particularly pertinent given that pre-hospital emergency medical services personnel (prehospital EMS personnel) frequently encounter stressful and tension-filled situations.

Background: Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is a widespread liver condition associated with diabetes, metabolic syndrome, and cardiovascular diseases, yet public awareness remains low. Early detection of risk factors is crucial, but liver biopsy, the diagnostic gold standard, is invasive and costly. Non-invasive anthropometric indices provide a safer alternative.

Chicken thigh is a popular and widely consumed meat product. However, its high moisture content and susceptibility to microbial spoilage limit its shelf life. To address this issue, we investigated the efficacy of an edible coating based on alginate nanoparticles (AlgNPs) containing menthol, essential oil (EO), or their combination for extending the shelf life of chicken thigh.

Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) is a devastating cause of death and disability. Outcomes following TBI have been extensively studied; however, less attention has been given to identifying characteristics of individuals who have a favorable outcome following severe TBI. We conducted a retrospective analysis of a database containing information on TBI patients admitted to a level 1 trauma center between 2015 and 2021.

In this work, we explored the role of a single electron in the energy of neutral and charged clusters of using data visualization and statistical techniques as a new insight. Initially, we studied the effects of one electron, time, and temperature on energy using multiple linear regression analysis with dummy variables, and the results demonstrated that all three predictors significantly affected the energy. Time had a positive impact (direct ratio effect) on the energy of , and and a negative impact (inverse ratio effect) on the energy of while temperature had a positive effect on the energy of all three sodium clusters.

Air pollution is a significant challenge in metropolitan areas, where increasing amounts of air pollutants threaten public health and environmental safety. The present study aims to forecast the concentrations of various air pollutants, including CO, O, NO, SO, PM, and PM, from 2013 to 2023 in the Tehran megacity, Iran, via deep learning (DL) models and evaluate their effectiveness over conventional machine learning (ML) methods. Key driving variables, including temperature, relative humidity, dew point, wind speed, and air pressure, were considered.

The first step to reducing the growing burden of cardiovascular disease (CVD) is to find modifiable risk factors with the highest burden in each population. Urban and rural citizens may have different priorities in this regard. This study aimed to compare the 10-year incidence probability of CVD events and its associated risk factors between rural and urban areas in Iran.

As a significant global concern, air pollution triggers enormous challenges in public health and ecological sustainability, necessitating the development of precise algorithms to forecast and mitigate its impacts, which has led to the development of many machine learning (ML)-based models for predicting air quality. Meanwhile, overfitting is a prevalent issue with ML algorithms that decreases their efficacy and generalizability. The present investigation, using an extensive collection of data from 16 sensors in Tehran, Iran, from 2013 to 2023, focuses on applying the Least Absolute Shrinkage and Selection Operator (Lasso) regularisation technique to enhance the forecasting precision of ambient air pollutants concentration models, including particulate matter (PM and PM), CO, NO, SO, and O while decreasing overfitting.

[Lu]Lu-DOTATATE is a newly trending acceptable therapy in recurrent/residual meningioma with good safety. However, recognizing any possible side effects in this special population would be helpful for better management and individualization of this useful treatment. Although the seizure has been previously reported in a few cases after [Lu]Lu-DOTATATE therapy in recurrent meningioma, the acute onset of seizure in these patients, early after therapeutic radioligand administration, is not reported to the best of our knowledge.
