This editorial briefly explores some of the distinctions between drugs and pharmaceuticals, alongside definitions regarding Cannabis sativa and its use in the context of a newly legal industry. Furthermore, medical cannabis is considered with regard to its toxicity, its social uses, its pharmacological activity, its legal paradoxes, and the scientific revolution sparked by the study of the endocannabinoid system, which has gained a great deal of relevance for modern physiology and pharmacology.

Objective: To estimate the incidence of falls and to know their characteristics in terms of location, temporality and injuries produced, and to analyse the sociodemographic and clinical characteristics of the patients who suffer falls.
Methodology: A retrospective observational cohort study was carried out in a level 2 hospital of the Madrid Health Service. Falls in hospitalized patients between July 1, 2018 and June 30, 2019 were studied.

Rest homes for the elderly have been particularly hit during the crisis due the current COVID-19 pandemic. At the time of writing this article, more than 17,500 elderly people that lived in Care Homes have died due to coronavirus, more than 66% of the deaths. The infection and mortality rates in the institutionalised population are high.

Objective: To quantify the proportion of oral antibiotics through private prescription (PP) and irregular prescription (IP) in the Community Pharmacy (CP).
Material And Methods: Cross-sectional multicentre study carried out in Spanish community pharmacies over a 4week period, one in each season of the year. An analysis was made of private and irregular prescriptions of oral J01 antibacterials for systemic use (Anatomical Therapeutic Chemical [ATC] classification).
Unlabelled: Propose: To describe PRP extraction devices, through a review of kits available in Spain, taking into account AEMPS and SEFH working groups (GPS, Farmacotecnia, Hemoderivados groups) contributions.
Methods: Three independent searches about PRP extraction devices were carried out. Device suppliers were contacted and an individually meeting was called with each one.
Vancomycin is an antibiotic used for infections by gram-positive bacteria with a two-compartment pharmacokinetic model. Its monitoring has an established therapeutic range (10-20 mg/L) to prevent nephrotoxicity and ototoxicity due to supratherapeutic levels, and inefficiency and development of resistance by subtherapeutic levels. Nephrotoxicity for vancomycin monotherapy at standard doses according to pathogen and typical regimens (usual dose: 15-20 mg/kg/12 h) is rare and usually reversible.

PRP therapeutical use, as osteinductor role, is a controversial issue, due to there are no clinical studies with rigorous design and no firm conclusions can be drawn regarding its uses. Methods: It was reviewed the information about storage temperatures recommended in the product information sheet and the available stability data at different temperatures of thermolabile drugs included in the Pharmacotherapeutic Guide of a 400-bed hospital that, according to the manufacturer, should be stored under refrigeration or freezing. Drugs of clinical trials were excluded.

Objective: To evaluate the results for implementing a pharmaceutical care programme aimed at optimising personalised pharmacotherapeutic treatment in a Trauma Centre with electronic medical records (EMR) and an integral system for personalised medication dispensing (ISPMD).
Method: A three-year observational, retrospective study (2007-2009). On a daily basis, we checked the pharmaceutical treatment of patients admitted to hospital units with ISPMD.
