Methods: This is a retrospective study, conducted among confirmed COVID-19 patients consulting the hospital emergency department.

The diagnosis and management of the most prevalent chronic respiratory diseases partially rely on parameters obtained from pulmonary functional tests (PFTs), including spirometry, plethysmography, and carbon monoxide diffusion capacity (DLCO) measurement. In practice, the interpretation of PFTs' parameters is based on international recommendations issued by renowned scientific societies such as the American Thoracic Society (ATS) and the European Respiratory Society (ERS). The interpretation standards for PFTs established by ATS/ERS in 2005 were updated in 2022.

Background: We report the results gathered over 15 years of screening for congenital disorders of glycosylation syndrome (CDGS) in Tunisia according to clinical and biochemical characteristics.
Methods: Our laboratory received 1055 analysis requests from various departments and hospitals, for children with a clinical suspicion of CDGS. The screening was carried out through separation of transferrin isoforms by capillary zone electrophoresis.

In cancer treatment, programmed death-1 (PD-1) and programmed death ligand-1 (PD-L1) inhibitors are thriving. Activated T lymphocytes expressed PD-1, it works with its ligand PD-L1 to limit T lymphocyte activation and prevent autoimmune disease. The expression of molecular biomarkers and PD-L1 in lung cancer determines the appropriate treatment strategy for patients with lung cancer.
