The aim is to evaluate laparoscopic cholecystectomy safety based on American Society of Anesthesiologists score for acute cholecystitis in patients with comorbidities. This is retrospective study of patients who underwent laparoscopic cholecystectomy for acute cholecystitis between 2003 and 2021. According to their respective ASA-score, patients were divided into group 1: ASA1-2 and group 2: ASA3-4.

Objective: To determine normal spirometric values in Djiboutian children and to compare these data with values reported by African studies and by the 2012 Global Lung Function Initiative.
Methods: Spirometric data from healthy Djiboutian children were collected and reference equations derived using the least mean squared method, which includes modelling skewness (λ, L), mean (μ, M) and coefficient of variation (σ, S) according to sex, age and height. In addition, the age-dependent lower limits of normal were calculated.

Background: Philadelphia chromosome-positive chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) in children is very rare. CML occurring as a secondary malignancy in individuals treated for diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) is also rare.
Case Report: We present the case of a 5-year-old female patient who developed a right orbital mass that was diagnosed as DLBCL.
