Background: A pyogenic granuloma (PG) represents a swiftly proliferating benign vascular tumor situated in the skin or subcutaneous tissue, commonly observed as a reactive lesion in the orofacial area. This research intended to scrutinize the clinicopathological characteristics of pyogenic granulomas in the oral and maxillofacial region.
Methods: Seventy two participants, comprising 24 men (33%) and 48 women (67%), underwent surgical ablation of pyogenic granuloma in oral and maxillofacial regions utilizing 940nm and 980nm diode lasers.

Objective: The objective of this study is to analyze oxidative stress markers Total Oxidant Status (TOS) and total Antioxidant Status (TAS), assess antioxidant levels (vitamin C, E), and evaluate co-factor element profiles zinc (Zn), copper (Cu), iron (Fe) in the serum of Iraqi gastric cancer patients. By elucidating these relationships, the research aims to enhance knowledge on oxidative stress, dietary factors, and potential therapeutic approaches for managing nutritional imbalances in this cohort.
Methods: The study included 60 gastric cancer patients and 60 matched controls.

Colloid cysts of the third ventricle are rare, benign intracranial tumors that can cause significant neurological symptoms and complications, particularly when they lead to obstructive hydrocephalus. The aim of this study is to present a case of a large third ventricle colloid cyst causing acute hydrocephalus and fainting attacks, necessitating emergency surgery. This is a case of a 46-year-old female presenting with headaches and recurrent fainting attacks.

Xeroderma pigmentosum (XP) is a rare autosomal recessive disease; relatively mild XP patients are sometimes designated as having pigmented xerodermoid or xerodermoid pigmentosum (XP-V), a variant of XP. It is commonly associated with many long-standing skin conditions and tumors, including malignancies, management of which is necessary to prevent the progress of the disease. The objective of the study was to evaluate an innovative therapeutic treatment, beyond surgery, surgical excision, cryotherapy, electrocautery and curettage, or Mohs surgery, for the management of skin tumors in XP.
