Aim: To evaluate the prevalence and prognostic impact of radiological sarcopenia in non-transplanted cirrhotic patients.
Methods: Longitudinal retrospective study including cirrhotic patients explored by an abdominal CT scan, over a period of 6 years, in a single gastroenterology department in Tunisia.
Background: We compared patients diagnosed at a SARI (severe acute respiratory infections) surveillance site with COVID-19 and those with seasonal influenza to investigate the clinical differences, common features, and outcomes.
Methods: We conducted a descriptive, retrospective study in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Abderrahman Mami Hospital between September 2021 and April 2022. Demographic, clinical, and biological data as well as outcomes were recorded for all patients.

Abstract: Primary Ewing's sarcoma (EWS) of non-sacral spine is extremely rare, especially in middle-age.
Key Clinical Message: Primary hydatid cyst of the thigh is a rare condition requiring prompt recognition and accurate diagnosis for timely management and prevention of complications.
Abstract: Muscular hydatid cysts are rare, with a frequency ranging from 1% to 5% even in endemic areas. The clinical presentation of muscular hydatidosis is typically subtle and lacks specific features, frequently resulting in delayed diagnosis.
Morphea is an auto-immune disease, and its association with other immune-mediated diseases should not come as a surprise. Dermatologists should be aware of its possible coexistence with severe systemic involvement.

We describe a very atypical and unusual course of pemphigus vulgaris with extensive keloid formation despite high systemic steroids. This could be promoted by the severe flare of the disease, the delay of scarring, and the superinfection.

Background: Aluminum (Al) and indium (In) have been largely used in medicine, pharmacy, dentistry, manufacturing, engineering, clothing as well as food processing and packaging. Our previous study showed that In was accumulated as electron-dense materials in lysosomes of Sertoli and Leydig testicular cells and the liver ones, when administered to male rats as soluble form. For this reason, we have undertaken to confirm whether Al have the same behavior as In and to enlarge this behavior to other organs of the male reproductive system: epididymis and seminal vesicle.
