Aim: A rare and diverse set of abnormalities formed by spinal blood arteries known as spinal arteriovenous malformations (AVMs) has a higher risk of hemorrhage and morbidity, causing the shunting of blood from veins with an aberrant capillary bed to arteries. Knowledge of the vascular anatomy of spinal AVMs and the spinal cord's vascular supply is crucial to its therapy. The aim of this study was to report a case of SAVM healing after surgical excision, highlighting the importance of surgical excision in treating these rare lesions.

Background: Presently, there's a lack of standardization in animal models used for studying urethral stricture. Transforming Growth Factor Beta 1 (TGF-β1) is known to regulate the deposition of extracellular matrix in both normal and pathological conditions. This factor holds promise as a potential model for simulating urethral stricture.

The purpose of this study was to observe the role of vitamin D levels with T helper 1 (Th1)-type cytokines, such as interferon γ (IFN-γ) and interleukin-12 (IL-12) efficacy, in those who had already received 2 injections of inactivated severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV2) vaccines (CoronaVac). We also observed if these cytokines played any significance in the CoronaVac effectiveness for preventing coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) infection. One hundred ninety-four volunteers were monitored for 8 months upon receiving 2 inactivated SARS-CoV2 vaccination injections (CoronaVac, Sinovac Life Sciences).
