Background: There is a paucity of real-world data on patients with interstitial lung diseases (ILDs) that are progressive, other than idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), including treatment patterns and attitudes toward treatment. Metabolic and functional factors associated with a change in resting metabolic rate among older adults with type 2 diabetes- results from the CEV-65 randomized trial.

Aims: This study evaluated the effects of circuit resistance training (CRT), a vegetarian/Mediterranean diet (VegMedD), and empagliflozin on Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR) in older adults with Type 2 Diabetes (T2DM).

Methods: 67 participants from CEV-65 trial (≥65 years, 61 % female) were randomly assigned to CRT, VegMedD, or empagliflozin for 10 weeks. Assessments included RMR, medical, metabolic, nutritional, anthropometric and functional measurements.

The aim of this work was to determine the nutritional value and antioxidant potential of the pulp and seeds of the fruit of grown and consumed in the Eastern Region of Cameroon. The physicochemical and nutritional analyses of the pulp and seeds showed that the water content ranged from 89.33 to 95.

The effect of strengthening and aerobic exercises on balance and functional independence levels in students with intellectual disabilities.

Purpose: This study was planned to examine the effects of strengthening and aerobic exercise training applied to students with intellectual disabilities on balance and functional independence.

Methods: A total of 107 intellectually disabled students, 36 girls, and 71 boys, aged between 11 and 18 years, studying at Denizli Çamlık Special Education Practice Center School were included in the study. In the study, a training program consisting of twice-a-week aerobic exercises was applied for one year and home strengthening exercises three days a week was applied for three months.
