The aim of this study was to examine the current literature on the employability and employment experiences of individuals with Down syndrome, focusing on the evolution of the employment rate and factors influencing employment such as cognitive and personal factors, societal attitudes, challenges, and effective support systems.

Methods: The learning interventions were developed by experts in pressure injury education and were based on empirical evidence, international clinical practice guidelines, and underpinned by social constructivism theory and the integrated interactive teaching model.

As the second most populated country in Africa, Ethiopia needs public health measures to control diseases that impact its population. The goal of this study is to analyse disease burdens of HBV and HCV, while also highlighting their estimated associated costs for the country. A literature review and a Delphi process reflecting input of Ethiopian experts and the National Viral Hepatitis Technical Working Group were used to complement mathematical modelling to estimate HBV and HCV disease and economic burdens.

Relatives' experiences of quality of healthcare services for adults with profound intellectual and multiple disabilities in Sweden.

Introduction: There is little research regarding quality of health care for people with profound intellectual and multiple disabilities (PIMD), who often are represented by their relatives, because of their limited communication. The aim of this study was to explore experiences and perspectives of relatives regarding healthcare services for adults with PIMD.

Method: Twelve semi-structured telephone interviews were conducted involving close relatives of people with PIMD: mothers ( = 7), fathers ( = 2), brothers ( = 2) and a sister ( = 1).

Promoting Angiogenesis/Osteogenesis by a New Copper/Magnesium Hydroxide Hybrid Nanoparticle: In Vitro and In Vivo Investigation.

In this study, a new hybrid nanoparticle composed of magnesium hydroxide and copper oxide (Mg(OH)/CuO) with an optimized ratio of magnesium (Mg) to copper (Cu) was designed and incorporated into a 3D-printed scaffold made of polycaprolactone (PCL) and gelatin. These hybrid nanostructures (MCNs) were prepared using a green, solvent-free method.
