Aim: to study the role of P2 receptors in impaired bladder contractility in patients with lower urinary tract obstruction.
Materials And Methods: in pharmacological studies, tissue samples from the bladder wall of 30 patients were used, obtained during planned surgical interventions for benign prostatic hyperplasia (transvesical simple prostatectomy without placement of cystostomy tube). Based on these tissue, isolated smooth muscle specimens were prepared.
