Aim: To evaluate the demographics, clinical characteristics, treatments, and outcomes of patients with ocular surface squamous neoplasia (OSSN) at the Philippine General Hospital.

Methods: This was a single-center, 11-year retrospective, cross sectional case series on 18 cases of OSSN seen between January 2012 to June 2023. The patient's demographics, presenting symptoms, tumor characteristics, histopathologic diagnosis, treatment, outcomes, and duration of follow-up were reviewed.

Optical coherence tomography Angiography (OCT-A) represents a revolution in the noninvasive evaluation of retinal and choroidal circulation especially in detecting early clinical signs of diabetic retinal disease (DRD). With appropriate use, OCT-A characteristics and measurements have the potential to become new imaging biomarkers in managing and treating DRD. Major challenges include (a) provision of standardized outputs from different OCT-A instruments providing standardized terminology to correctly interpret data; (b) the presence of artifacts; (c) the absence of standardized grading or interpretation method in the evaluation of DRD, similar to that already established in fundus photography; and (d) establishing how OCT-A might be able to provide surrogate markers to demonstrate blood retinal barrier breakdown and vascular leakage, commonly associated with DRD.

Retinitis pigmentosa can be associated with exudative vasculopathy in rare instances, which can manifest as retinal vasoproliferative tumours. We present the case of a 33-year-old woman previously diagnosed with retinitis pigmentosa sine pigmentosa in both eyes. She was asymptomatic and just came in for a routine follow-up eye examination.

Purpose: To compare the thickness of the retro- and sub-orbicularis oculi fat (ROOF and SOOF) between patients with thyroid eye disease (TED) and controls via MRI and to determine factors influencing fat thickness.

Methods: This retrospective, comparative, case-control study included 136 patients (272 sides) with TED and 50 control patients (50 sides). The thickness of the ROOF and SOOF was measured on the quasi-sagittal plane through the optic nerve (the central plane) and 6 mm lateral and medial to the central plane at the level through the superior orbital rim and at the level just below the orbital septum in the lower eyelid, respectively.
