To compare the corneal biomechanical parameters measured by Corvis ST in subjects with varying degrees of myopia. And the factors that may affect corneal biomechanical properties were also investigated. Participants in this prospective cross-sectional study were classified into three groups according to spherical equivalent (SE) and axial length (AL): Non-myopia (NM, SE > - 0.

Purpose: To analyze the characteristics of macular retinal vessel density and thickness in children with myopia.
Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted. A total of 228 children aged 4-16 years who visited the Ineye Hospital of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from September 2022 to November 2023 were included.

Purpose: To understand the ocular biometric parameters characteristics and refractive errors in 3-to 6-year-old preschool children in Chengdu, China, and to investigate the prevalence of refractive errors.
Method: A school-based cross-sectional study was conducted in Chengdu from 2020 to2022 with a total of 666 kindergartens. All children were measured by non-cycloplegic autorefraction and uncorrected visual acuity (UCVA) and ocular biometric parameters.

Background: Refractive errors are one of the most common ocular conditions among children and adolescents, with myopia showing an increasing prevalence and early onset in this population. Recent studies have identified a correlation between refractive errors and ocular biometric parameters.
Methods: A systematic search was conducted in electronic databases including PubMed, EMBASE, Cochrane Library, Web of Science, and Medline from January 1, 2012, to May 1, 2023.

Aims: To evaluate the association between contrast sensitivity function (CSF) and glaucomatous structural damage in primary open-angle glaucoma (POAG).
Methods: A cross-sectional study was performed with 103 patients (103 eyes) aged 25-50 years who had POAG without any other ocular disease. CSF measurements were obtained by the quick CSF method, a novel active learning algorithm that covers 19 spatial frequencies and 128 contrast levels.

Background: In this study, we compared the efficacy of Ahmed, Ex-PRESS, and trabeculectomy to provide a reference for determining surgical schemes for glaucoma patients undergoing external drainage surgery in clinical practice.
Methods: We performed a literature search for studies on the treatment of primary and secondary glaucoma with three types of external drainage surgery (Ahmed, Ex-PRESS, and trabeculectomy). As at April 24, 2021, seven electronic databases were searched for randomized controlled trials comparing any two of Ahmed, Ex-PRESS, and trabeculectomy in the treatment of glaucoma.

Background: XEN gel implant is an alternative method of treating glaucoma by connecting the anterior chamber and the subconjunctival space. The efficacy of the XEN gel implant and whether to combine with phacoemulsification is what most concerned. This review aims to test the efficacy and safety of the XEN gel implant compared with trabeculectomy and to test the efficacy between XEN combined with phacoemulsification and XEN alone.
