Introduction: Acceptance of recommended vaccines is lower among pregnant people compared to non-pregnant adults, yet no tool has specifically measured prenatal vaccine hesitancy. We evaluated the performance of an existing adult Vaccine Hesitancy Scale (aVHS) in measuring vaccine hesitancy toward routinely recommended prenatal vaccines.
Methods: Between December 2021 and April 2022, we conducted a cross-sectional national online survey with 917 US postpartum adults 18-49 years old who had given birth in the past six months.

Group B Streptococcus is a bacterium that colonizes in approximately 20% of pregnant women and can be vertically transmitted to newborns, leading to maternal-neonatal adverse outcomes, such as chorioamnionitis, neonatal sepsis, and pneumonia. However, there is currently no agreement on the optimal induction method for this specific population. This study aims to evaluate the safety of a single balloon catheter (BC) in comparison to dinoprostone for labor induction in term pregnant women with group B Streptococcus colonization.

Rationale: Posterior urethral valve is a rare disease, prenatal diagnosis and prognosis evaluation are particularly important.
Patient Concerns: A 25-year-old pregnant woman was found enhanced parenchymal echo in both kidneys, subcapsule urinary cyst formation in both kidneys, bladder enlargement of the fetus during prenatal ultrasonography at 25 W + 4 of gestation. It was accompanied by fetal pericardial effusion and oligohydramnios.

Objective: As the first model in predicting the failure of early medical abortion (EMA) was inefficient, this study aims to develop and validate a risk assessment model for predicting the failure of EMAs more accurately in a clinical setting.
Methods: The derivation cohort was obtained from a comprehensive systematic review and meta-analysis. The clinically significant risk factors were identified and combined with their corresponding odds ratios to establish a risk assessment model.

Objectives: Placental growth factor (PlGF) has been reported as a good biomaker for the prediction of preeclampsia occurring in the short term in singleton pregnancies, in women presenting with clinical suspicion of preeclampsia. This study aims to evaluate the predictive value of the PlGF in twin pregnancies.
Methods: Twin pregnancies with clinically suspected preeclampsia (24 weeks 0 days-36 weeks 6 days of gestation) were enrolled in this study.

Background: The objective of this study was to evaluate the levels of Vascular Peroxidase 1 (VPO1), humanin, and MOTS-c in relation to miR-200c expression in untreated preeclamptic pregnancies, and to compare these findings with endoglin levels.
Methods And Results: In this study, blood samples were collected from preeclamptic patients presenting to the clinic prior to the initiation of treatment. The levels of endoglin, VPO1, humanin, and MOTS-c were measured using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), while miR-200c expression was quantified using reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR).

Reproductive failures, such as recurrent pregnancy loss (RPL) and recurrent implantation failures (RIF) are a major challenge for reproductive medicine. The current management of RPL and RIF cases identifies some causes for unsuccessful pregnancy in up to half of patients. Several studies have suggested that immune disorders are responsible for an important portion of unexplained cases of RPL and RIF.

Background: Hypertensive disorders of pregnancy (HDPs), which include gestational hypertension (GH) and preeclampsia (PE), are the primary causes of maternal morbidity and mortality worldwide. Recent studies have found a correlation between metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD) and HDPs, but the causality of this association remains to be identified. Therefore, this study aims to evaluate the causal relationship between MASLD and HDPs through Mendelian randomization (MR) analysis.

Background: Intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), a type of assisted reproductive technology (ART), is offered as a treatment option for male factor infertility. Over the years, the indications for ICSI have been expanded, despite uncertainty about its benefits and harms compared to the conventional method of achieving fertilisation. Artificial oocyte activation (AOA), which can be performed by chemical, electrical or mechanical intervention, has been employed during ART ICSI treatment where there has been a history of low fertilization rate or total fertilization failure, and it has been reported to improve reproductive outcomes.

Rationale: Postpartum haemorrhage (PPH), defined as a blood loss of 500 mL or more within 24 hours of birth, is the leading global cause of maternal morbidity and mortality. Allogenic blood transfusions are a critical component of PPH management, yet are often unfeasible, particularly in resource-poor settings where maternal morbidity is highest. Autologous cell salvage in the management of PPH has been proposed to combat limitations in access to allogenic blood and potential transfusion-related risks.

Background And Objective: Urothelial bladder cancer (UCB) care requires frequent follow-up cystoscopy and surgery. Confocal laser endomicroscopy (CLE), a probe-based optical technique for real-time microscopic evaluation, has shown promising accuracy for grading of UCB. We investigated the diagnostic accuracy of CLE-based assessment of the surgical radicality of the bladder resection bed (RB).
