Methods: Three groups were enrolled: AGA, SGA (birth weight below 10th percentile for gestational age with no placental insufficiency findings), and IUGR (birth weight below 5th percentile for gestational age accompanied by abnormal umbilical artery Doppler waveforms and/or oligohydramnios). Maternal serum ferritin samples were obtained at gestational weeks 34 through 36, and delivery occurred at or beyond 36 weeks.

Background: Our aim was to compare the therapeutic efficacies of norethisterone acid (NETA), tranexamic acid and levonorgestrel-releasing intrauterine system (LNG-IUS) in treating idiopathic heavy menstrual bleeding (HMB).
Methods: Women with heavy uterine bleeding were randomized to receive NETA, tranexamic acid or LNG-IUS for 6 months. The primary outcome was a decrease in menstrual bleeding as assessed by pictorial blood loss assessment charts and hematological parameters analyzed at the 1st, 3rd and 6th months.
Aim: The aim of this study was to evaluate the predictive value of symptomatic evaluation with transvaginal ultrasonographic findings for diagnosis of retained products of conception (RPOC) after voluntary pregnancy termination via manual vacuum aspiration (MVA).
Methods: A total of 466 patients with a gestational age < 10 weeks were followed up at the 7th day after MVA of unwanted pregnancies. The patients who had intense or moderate bleeding and other symptoms related to RPOC had a re-evacuation and all the patients were followed up until the next menstruation.

Bart's syndrome is characterized by aplasia cutis congenita and epidermolysis bullosa. We present the case of a newborn male who developed blisters on the mucous membranes and the skin following congenital localized absence of skin. Bart's syndrome (BS) is diagnosed clinically based on the disorder's unique signs and symptoms but histologic evaluation of the skin can help to confirm the final diagnosis.

The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of negative life events on in-vitro-fertilization (IVF) outcome. Depression and negative life events were measured using Beck Depression Inventory (BDI) and List of Recent Events in 83 women attending the IVF clinic of a tertiary research and education hospital with the diagnosis of unexplained infertility between January 2013 and August 2013. Demographic features, stimulation parameters, depression scores, and negative life events of pregnant and non-pregnant participants were compared and the relation between negative life events, depression scores, and IVF outcome was investigated.

Objective: We aimed to identify if there is any predictor of residual disease at repeat operation after cervical conization with positive surgical margins for high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesion (HSIL) or microinvasive cervical cancer.
Materials And Methods: Records of patients who underwent immediate repeat conization or hysterectomy because of positive surgical margins for HSIL or microinvasive cervical cancer reported after conization were obtained. The relation between the residual disease and age, parity, menopausal status, and the factors of first conization (method, cone base area, height of cone, endocervical margin, glandular and endocervical curettage specimen involvement, and the number of quadrants with positive surgical margins) was assessed.
