This study investigated the association of blood and semen Bisphenol A (BPA) levels of the male partner on the reproductive outcome in intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) treatment cycles. For this prospective study (ClinicalTrials.gov identifier: NCT02703584), blood and semen samples of the male partner of the 75 women who had ICSI were analyzed.

Intravenous Immunoglobulin Use in Hemolytic Disease Due to ABO Incompatibility to Prevent Exchange Transfusion.

Introduction: Intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG) has been widely used to treat the hemolytic disease of the newborn (HDN). Although it has been shown that IVIG treatment reduces the duration of phototherapy and hospitalization, the use of IVIG in hemolytic disease due to ABO incompatibility has been controversial in recent years. This study aimed to investigate the role of IVIG in the prevention of exchange transfusion in infants with ABO HDN who presented with bilirubin levels at or above the level of exchange transfusion.

Materials And Methods: 92 patients with pathologically confirmed diagnosis of renal cell carcinoma were included in our study. Patients were divided into two groups according to preoperative imaging as computed tomography (CT) (55 patients) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) (37 patients).

The effect of plastic bottled water consumption on outcomes of ICSI cycles undertaken for unexplained infertility.

Research Question: Do bisphenol A (BPA) levels in maternal urine, serum and follicular fluid affect embryo quality and intracytoplasmic sperm hinjection (ICSI) cycle outcomes in women with unexplained infertility?

Design: Prospective study conducted between 1 April 2019 and 30 September 2019. The study cohort consisted of 82 women aged between 23 and 33 years who underwent intracytoplasmic sperm injection owing to unexplained infertility and provided urine, blood and follicular fluid samples on the day of oocyte retrieval. Consumption of drinking water from plastic carboys or bottles at home were considered as chronic BPA exposure.

Carcinosarcoma of the ovary compared to ovarian high-grade serous carcinoma: impact of optimal cytoreduction and standard adjuvant treatment.

Objective: The purpose of this retrospective study was to compare the prognoses of women with ovarian carcinosarcoma (OCS) who had optimal cytoreductive surgery followed by platinum plus taxane combination chemotherapy to those of women with ovarian high-grade serous carcinoma (HGSC) treated in the same manner.

Methods: A multicenter, retrospective department database review was performed to identify patients with OCS at eight gynecologic oncology centers in Turkey. A total of 54 women with OCS who had undergone optimal cytoreductive surgery followed by platinum plus taxane combination chemotherapy between 1999 and 2017 were included in this case-control study.

Liver recurrence in endometrial cancer: a multi-institutional analysis of factors predictive of postrecurrence survival.

Predictive factors for survival following liver metastasis in endometrial cancer (EC) have not been studied to date. It is expected that patients who initially presented with liver metastasis or developed liver metastasis as the subsequent metastatic site of progressive disease are likely to have poor outcomes. We present the case of a newborn male who developed blisters on the mucous membranes and the skin following congenital localized absence of skin. Bart's syndrome (BS) is diagnosed clinically based on the disorder's unique signs and symptoms but histologic evaluation of the skin can help to confirm the final diagnosis.
