There are three components to every environmental protection system: monitoring, estimation, and control. One of the main toxic gases with considerable effects on human health is NO, which is released into the atmosphere by industrial activities and the transportation network. In the present research, a NO sensor is designed based on FeO piperidine-4-sulfonic acid grafted onto a reduced graphene oxide FeO@rGO-N-(piperidine-4-SOH) nanocomposite, due to the highly efficient detection of pollution in the air.

The Anticipated Effects of Food Scale (AEFS) assesses food-related emotional expectancies using 62 one-word items; however, a shorter questionnaire would be useful in large and clinical studies.

We measured the relative vaccine effectiveness (rVE) of the second booster dose of COVID-19 vaccine compared to the first booster, against laboratory-confirmed SARS-CoV-2 infection in HCWs.

Methods: In a prospective cohort study among HCWs from 12 European hospitals, we collected nasopharyngeal or saliva samples at enrolment and during weekly/fortnightly follow-up between October 2022 and May 2023.

This study investigated the effect of heat treatment (HT) on the stability and content of phytosterol in njangsa seed oil (NSO), bush mango oil (BMO), soybean oil (SBO), coconut oil (CCO), and margarines formulated from their blends: BN (BMO and NSO), BS (BMO and SBO), CN (CCO and NSO), CS (CCO and SBO), and commercial margarines (CM1 and CM2). Both oils and margarines were heat-treated at 130, 170, and 210°C for 10, 15, 20, and 120 min (only oils).
