Meriç Delta, which has a wide variety of ecosystems, is an A Class Wetland and the most significant natural stagnant freshwater ecosystem located in the south-western of Thrace Region of Türkiye. In this research, heavy metals (Cr, Ni, As, Cd, and Pb) were investigated in the surface water and Carassius gibelio (Bloch, 1782) obtained from Meriç Delta lakes (Gala, Pamuklu, Sığırcı, and Dalyan), which are located on an important migration route of water birds. The heavy metals in surface water samples and fish tissues were determined by ICP-MS.

Material And Methods: A total of 72 mandibular incisors were divided into 6 groups according to the nickel-titanium (NiTi) system used and glide path preparation: group Rp - Reciproc; group Rp-O - Reciproc after glide path preparation; group WG - WaveOne Gold; group WG-O - WaveOne Gold after glide path preparation; group OC - One Curve; and group OC-O - One Curve after glide path preparation.

Purpose: To determine the frequency and clinical features of new- and early-onset benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) after different otologic surgical operations with and without surgical drilling.

Methods: All unilateral otologic operations performed at the otolaryngology clinic of a tertiary university hospital between January 2021 and May 2023 were screened, and 437 adult cases were included in the study. Of these patients, those who were diagnosed with BPPV within the first month postoperatively were examined.
