The HOVON 104 studied bortezomib-dexamethasone induction therapy and autologous stem cell transplantation in 50 patients, of whom 35 received an autologous stem cell transplantation (ASCT). We demonstrate a 5-year overall survival (OS) of 73% and progression-free survival (PFS) of 52% for all 50 patients with a median follow-up of 61.3 months.

Accurate assessment of the lymph node (LN) status is crucial in resectable perihilar cholangiocarcinoma (pCCA) to prevent major surgery in patients with extraregional metastatic LNs (MLNs). Second- and third-generation tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKI) play an important role in the treatment of Philadelphia chromosome-positive acute lymphoblastic leukemia (Ph + ALL). However, data on feasibility and efficacy of using these drugs for persisting or relapsed Ph + ALL after allogeneic stem cell transplantation (alloSCT) are scarce. Based on the EBMT Acute Leukemia Working Party registry, we evaluated the use of second-/third-generation TKI in 140 patients with Ph + ALL, suffering from measurable residual disease (MRD, n = 6), molecular relapse (MRel, n = 23), or hematological relapse (HRel, n = 111) following alloSCT.

Background: The Dutch Breast Implant Registry (DBIR) was established in April of 2015 and currently contains information on 38,000 implants in 18,000 women. As a clinical registry, it evaluates the quality of breast implant surgery, including adverse events such as breast implant-associated (BIA) anaplastic large cell lymphoma (ALCL). To examine the efficacy of the DBIR, the capture rate of BIA-ALCL was compared to the registration of BIA-ALCL in the Dutch Nationwide Network and Registry of Histo- and Cytopathology (PALGA) as a gold standard, in combination with matching these databases to obtain complementary information.
