Currently, the accuracy and quality value estimation provided by HiFi technology are more than sufficient for applications such as genome assembly and germline variant calling.

Background: A broken bur retained in the lower jaw is an uncommon complication that occurs during the extraction of the impacted mandibular third molar. The purpose of this retrospective study was to investigate the clinical characteristics of the broken burs and review our experience with the removal of the broken burs in these cases.

Methods: This was a cross-sectional study, and 202 dyads of breast cancer patients and their spouses were enrolled.

Background: Although scholars have extensively explored the impact of parents on the mental health of children and adolescents during the COVID-19 pandemic, the role of living arrangements has not received sufficient attention. Adipose allograft matrix (AAM), which recruits native cells to damaged tissues, may also be a potential treatment for rotator cuff tears.

Burden of caregivers of older people in Sri Lanka: an overlooked concern in the health care system.

Background: Caring for older people has become a significant public health concern in Sri Lanka due to the growing aging population. This has placed a heavy burden on family caregivers, particularly those caring for older individuals with multiple chronic conditions. Recognizing this challenge, the present study aimed to evaluate the psychometric properties of the Sinhala version of the 10-item short form of the Burden Scale for Family Caregivers (BSFC-s) and assess caregiver burden and associated factors among caregivers of older people aged over 65 years with multimorbidity.
