It is a common occurrence in the fracture processes of deep carbonate reservoirs that the fracturing construction pressure during hydraulic fracturing operation exceeds 80 MPa. The maximum pumping pressure is determined by the rated pressure of the pumping pipe equipment and the reservoir characteristics, which confine the fracture to the target area. When the pump pressure exceeds the safety limit, hydraulic fracturing has to reduce the construction displacement to prevent potential accidents caused by overpressure.

In this study, g-CN/CNT composites loaded with non-metallic cocatalysts were prepared through pyrolysis using urea and CNTs. Various characterization techniques, including transmission electron microscopy (TEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), ultraviolet-visible diffuse reflectance spectroscopy (UV-vis DRS), photoelectrochemical (PEC) analysis, fluorescence lifetime spectroscopy (TRPL), electron paramagnetic resonance spectroscopy (ESR), and photoluminescence (PL) spectroscopy, were employed to analyze the sample's microstructure, phase composition, elemental chemical states, and photoelectronic properties.

Unconventional gas reservoirs, characterized by their complex geologies and challenging extraction conditions, demand innovative approaches to enhance gas production and ensure economic viability. Well stimulation techniques, such as hydraulic fracturing and acidizing, have become indispensable tools in unlocking the potential of these tight formations. However, the effectiveness of these techniques can vary widely depending on the specific characteristics of the reservoir.

Aiming at the problem of restart-up for a heavy oil-water ring transportation pipeline due to instability and damage of the water ring, based on the self-developed design of a small indoor loop simulation experimental device and taking four kinds of ordinary heavy oil in the Lvda oilfield as the research object, the change trend of restart-up pressure drop with time is experimentally studied when the pipeline is restarted-up after shutdown at a constant water flow. On the basis of the regression analysis of the orthogonal restart-up experimental data of four factors (oil holdup, oil viscosity, standstill period, and water cleaning superficial velocity) and mixed levels by the statistical product and service solutions statistical analysis software, a multivariate nonlinear restart-up maximum pressure drop prediction model is established. Through analysis of the characteristics of each stage of the restart-up process, an exponential decay model of restart-up pressure drop with time is created.

Chemical oxidation as a pretreatment step coupled with bioremediation for petroleum-contaminated soil may pose serious impacts on indigenous microorganisms and the available nutrients. Petroleum-contaminated soil were treated by hydrogen peroxide (HO) at initial concentrations of 105 mM (HH), 21 mM (HL), and 105 mM in three equal amounts (HT) without adding any external catalyst. The contents of total petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH) and dissolved nutrients (total organic compounds, nitrogen, and phosphate), and the indigenous bacteria community succession (analyzed by high-throughput sequencing of 16S rDNA) were investigated over 50 days.

The mineral compositions of oil-based drilling cutting residues (ODCRs) were similar to that of clay, which could be used as raw materials for ceramsite. In this study, the maximum addition of ODCRs and the optimum calcination conditions were studied by single factor experiment. The microstructure, phase composition, and element distribution of ceramsite were studied by means of SEM, XRD and EDS.
