Purpose: Our study aims to determine optimal sizing of below-the-knee (BTK) artery angioplasty without intravascular ultrasound (IVUS), compensating for conventional angiography underestimation by selecting a balloon size one size larger than the 1-to-1 angiographic sizing.
Materials And Methods: Our study is a retrospective, single-center study. Patients were separated into 2 groups as over and angiographic reference group which the over group is larger balloon diameter selection (0.

Background: This study aimed to evaluate the clinical and radiological features of the patella fixation technique using Toggleloc suspension system in a single ellipsoidal blind patellar tunnel during medial patellofemoral ligament (MPFL) reconstruction.
Methods: This study included 52 patients (25 men, 27 women) who underwent MPFL reconstruction using a semitendinosus tendon graft. The graft was fixed to the ellipsoidal single blind tunnel opened on the medial side of the patella with an endobutton and was fixed to the femoral tunnel by using bioabsorbable screw.

Our study aimed to assess the influence of incorporating new oral anticoagulant (NOAC) therapy on clinical outcomes among patients who underwent endovascular intervention for below-the-knee (BTK) occlusions necessitating reintervention. The inclusion criteria encompassed patients with chronic limb-threatening ischemia (CLTI) and had undergone a successful endovascular intervention for BTK artery occlusion, necessitating reintervention. Patients who underwent endovascular interventions for BTK reocclusion were compared to those who received dual-pathway inhibition with NOAC (rivaroxaban 2.

Purpose: Unicompartmental knee arthroplasty (UKA) is an established option for treating isolated unicompartmental knee osteoarthritis (OA), but controversies still exist about patient selection, indications, perioperative management and alignment goals. This survey was designed to understand the current trends of experienced arthroplasty knee surgeons performing UKA.
Methods: An online questionnaire was created with SurveyMonkey to assess global tendencies in the utilization of UKA.

Objective: Spinal fusion, which is widely used in the surgical treatment of adolescent idiopathic scoliosis (AIS), limits the movements of the vertebral column. In this study, it was aimed to investigate the relationship between spinal mobility in the postoperative period with functional balance, quality of life, and perception of appearance in individuals with AIS.
Methods: Thirty patients with AIS who underwent posterior spinal fusion surgery 1 to 3 years ago were included in the study.

Background: Vitamin D deficiency has been found to be associated with various cardiovascular disorders, including hypertension, coronary artery disease, heart failure, peripheral vascular diseases, and sudden cardiac death. In the literature, it has been reported that many electrocardiographic parameters have been developed to predict ventricular arrhythmias. In recent studies, it is noteworthy that the index of cardio-electrophysiological balance (iCEB) and correct cardioelectrophysiological balance (iCEBc), which are electrocardiographic parameters, can be used as new, easy, cheap and non-invasive parameters to predict ventricular arrhythmias.

Scapholunate (SL) instability is the most common dissociative carpal instability, and the most frequent cause of wrist osteoarthritis (OA), termed as scapholunate advanced collapse (SLAC). The aim of this study was to present the mid-term clinical and radiographic results of dorsal SL ligament reconstruction by utilizing free palmaris longus tendon graft in patients with symptomatic, chronic, static SL dissociation; while assessing the safety and efficacy of this technique, In total, 42 patients with a mean age of 44.1 (range 26-53) and mean follow-up duration of 69.

Background Bone is a dramatically regenerating tissue with the ability to heal after trauma, although intensive surgical management is required to treat considerable damage. In this study, 45S5 bioactive grafts were prepared through the melt-quenched method in compliance with the guidelines on medical product requirements (MDD regulations; 93/42/EEC Annex-II section 3&4 and ISO standardizations; ISO 13485:2016) for bone repair and regeneration. Methodology After preparing the graft/scaffold, it was evaluated for biocompatibility according to the principles of "lSO 10993-6 2015 Biological evaluation of medical devices: Tests for local effects after implantation, Annex D 'Test method for implantation in bone,'" "lSO 10993-2:2005 Biological evaluation of medical devices: Animal welfare requirements," and "lSO 10993-12 2012 Biological evaluation of medical devices sample preparation rules and standards.

Abnormal uterine bleeding (AUB) is a frequent symptom in perimenopausal women. It is defined as uterine bleeding in which the duration, frequency, or amount of bleeding is considered excessive and negatively affects the woman's quality of life (QoL) and psychological well-being. In cases of structural uterine pathology, hysterectomy (usually performed via a minimally invasive approach) offers definitive symptom relief and is associated with long-lasting improvement of QoL and sexuality.

Purpose: This study aimed to evaluate trefoil factor 3 (TFF3), secreted frizzled-related protein 4 (sFRP4), reactive oxygen species modulator 1 (Romo1) and nuclear factor kappa B (NF-κB) as diagnostic and prognostic markers of endometrial cancer (EC) and ovarian cancer (OC).
Methods: Thirty-one patients with EC and 30 patients with OC undergone surgical treatment were enrolled together with 30 healthy controls in a prospective study. Commercial ELISA kits determined serum TFF-3, Romo-1, NF-кB and sFRP-4 concentrations.

Now it is possible to combine the different biomaterial properties of graphene and 3 D printing scaffolds produced by tissue engineering for cartilage repair. In the study graphene-containing (1, 3, 5, 10 wt%), porous and oriented poly-ε-caprolactone-based scaffolds were prepared by robocasting method to use in the regeneration of large osteochondral defects. The scaffolds were implanted into the full-thickness osteochondral defect in a rabbit model to evaluate the regeneration of the defect .
