Ventricular myxomas are rare compared with atrial myxomas. Unlike with atrial myxomas, it is usually challenging to visualize a ventricular mass because of the complex structures in the left ventricle. We report the case of a 44-year-old woman who had a recurrent left ventricular myxoma 8 years after the initial surgical removal.

Introduction: This study investigated a remotely delivered, therapist-facilitated, personalized music listening intervention for community-dwelling older adults experiencing loneliness during the Covid-19 pandemic. We assessed its feasibility and individuals' experiences of social connection and emotional well-being during the intervention.
Methods: Ten cognitively unimpaired older adults who endorsed loneliness completed eight weekly sessions with a board-certified music therapist via Zoom.

Background: Postoperative atrial fibrillation (POAF) is associated with increased morbidity and mortality. Epicardial injection of botulinum toxin may suppress POAF.
Objectives: This study sought to assess the safety and efficacy of AGN-151607 for the prevention of POAF after cardiac surgery.

Purpose Of Review: This review aims to discuss the rationale behind the development of percutaneous LAAC devices as a treatment option for atrial fibrillation patients ineligible for long-term anticoagulation. The evolution of LAAC, from early experiences and challenges to risk mitigation and improved devices and techniques, will be examined. Furthermore, the review will explore our current understanding of the potential and limitations of LAAC in stroke prevention.

Catheter ablation for treatment of symptomatic non-paroxysmal atrial fibrillation remains challenging. Clinical failure and need for continued medical therapy or repeat ablation is common, especially in more advanced forms of atrial fibrillation. Hybrid ablation has emerged as a more effective and safe therapy than endocardial-only ablation particularly for longstanding persistent atrial fibrillation as demonstrated by the randomized controlled CONVERGE trial.

Background: VISITAG SURPOINT (VS)-guided ablation of paroxysmal atrial fibrillation has demonstrated good short- and long-term success rates with low rates of complications in recent, predominantly European, studies. However, there is a lack of multicenter data from the United States.

Background: Hybrid Convergent ablation for atrial fibrillation (AF) combines minimally invasive surgical (epicardial) and catheter (endocardial) ablation. The procedural goal is to achieve more extensive, enduring ablation of AF substrate around the pulmonary veins, posterior wall, and vestibule of the posterior wall left atrium.
Objective: To perform a systematic review and meta-analysis on safety and effectiveness of contemporary Hybrid Convergent procedures.

Mycobacterium abscessus complex (MABSC) represents the second most common cause of nontuberculous mycobacterial pulmonary disease, associated with up to 17% of cases. Treatment of MABSC disease is complex, lengthy, and involves multidrug regimens due to high rates of intrinsic antimicrobial resistance; cure rates remain poor. There are currently no approved treatments for MABSC, and only limited data are available to guide treatment decisions for individual patients.

Objective: The aim of this study was to characterize the safety of programmed death 1 inhibitors in patients with preexisting autoimmune disease.
Methods: A medical records review study was conducted on adults with solid tumor malignancies who received ≥1 dose of pembrolizumab or nivolumab at Emory Healthcare from September 4, 2014 until December 31, 2019. All autoimmune patients were included (n = 77), whereas the nonautoimmune patients were randomized and the first 156 patients were included in a 2:1 ratio to autoimmune patients.
