Introduction Urosepsis is a systemic, dysregulated, inflammatory reaction to a urinary tract infection and can have severe effects on all systems, which can often lead to multi-organ failure and death. Sepsis-associated delirium is a common complication in critically ill patients, contributing to adverse outcomes and prolonged hospital stays. The neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) has emerged as a potential biomarker for sepsis severity and prognosis.

Prostate cancer is among the most frequently diagnosed cancers and a leading cause of cancer-related death in men. Currently, the most reliable and widely used imaging test for prostate cancer diagnosis is multiparametric pelvic magnetic resonance imaging (mpMRI). Modern biopsy techniques are based on the computerised merging of ultrasound and MRI images to provide better vision during the biopsy procedure (Fusion Biopsy).

Sepsis is a life-threatening medical emergency induced by the body's extreme response to an infection. Despite well-defined and constantly updated criteria for diagnosing sepsis, it is still underdiagnosed worldwide. Among various markers studied over time, the neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio (NLR) recently emerged as a good marker to predict sepsis severity.

Rare breast tumors, such as, pseudoangiomatous stromal hyperplasia, granulomatous mastitis, tubular adenoma, myofibroblastoma and xanthogranulomatous mastitis, sarcomas, neuroendocrine tumors can sometimes be misdiagnosed because of the similarities in their imagistic characteristics. The main objective of our report is to emphasize the importance of performing ultrasound-guided breast biopsies of suspect lesions in young patients. We performed an US-guided breast biopsy instead of an excisional biopsy because breast surgery has a huge psychological impact.

Method: We assessed the correlation between the effect of maternal dexamethasone (Dex) on AEDF in the UA and perinatal outcomes, in 59 GRFs from EPS-complicated pregnancies. The maternal outcome was also evaluated.

The advent of immunotherapy has changed the management and therapeutic methods for a variety of malignant tumors in the last decade. Unlike traditional cytotoxic chemotherapy, which works by interfering with cancer cell growth via various pathways and stages of the cell cycle, cancer immunotherapy uses the immune system to reduce malignant cells' ability to escape the immune system and combat cell proliferation. The widespread use of immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) over the past 10 years has presented valuable information on the profiles of toxic adverse effects.

Unilateral primary pulmonary hypoplasia is rare in adulthood (UPHA); it is characterized by a decreased number of bronchial segmentation and decreased/absent alveolar air space. Classical chest X-ray may be confusing, and the biological tests are unspecific. We present a case of UPHA in a 60-year-old female, smoker, with 3 term normal deliveries, who presented with late recurrent pneumonias and bronchiectasis-type symptomathology, arterial hypertension, and obesity.
