Histopathologic effects of obstetric gel on the vaginal tissue: in vaginal trauma formed rat model.

The present study aimed to investigate the histopathological effects of obstetric gel (OG) on vaginal tissue. In this study, 21 female Wistar albino rats were divided into three groups, comprising seven animals in each group. The first group (group 1) was the control group, the second group (group 2) was the physiological saline (PS) group, and the third group (group 3) was the OG group.

Sexual Function of Women with and without Pregnancy-Related Pelvic Girdle Pain and its Relationship with Physical Activity, Kinesiophobia and Body Image: A Cross-Sectional Comparative Study.

The aim of this study was to compare the sexual function of women with and without pregnancy-related PGP, and to investigate its relationship with physical activity (PA), kinesiophobia, and body image (BI). Demographic characteristics, sexual function (Pregnancy Sexual Response Inventory), PA (Pregnancy Physical Activity Questionnaire), kinesiophobia (Tampa Kinesiophobia Scale), and BI (Body Image in Pregnancy Scale) of 125 pregnant women were recorded. In the PGP group (n = 46), visual analogue scales were used to assess the pain intensity during resting and sexual activity, and Pelvic Girdle Questionnaire was used to evaluate the activity limitation.

Classification of breast tumors by using a novel approach based on deep learning methods and feature selection.

Purpose: Cancer is one of the most insidious diseases that the most important factor in overcoming the cancer is early diagnosis and detection. The histo-pathological images are used to determine whether the tissue is cancerous and the type of cancer. As the result of examination on tissue images by the expert personnel, the cancer type, and stage of the tissue can be determined.

Comparison of Iliac and Femoral Autograft Practices in Pemberton Pelvic Osteotomy.

Background: There is no consensus in regard to grafts used after pelvic osteotomy in developmental dysplasia of the hip in the literature. The aim of this study was to compare iliac and femoral autografts used after Pemberton pelvic osteotomy (PPO).

Methods: In this prospective, randomized study, 60 hips with dysplasia of the hip were included.

Structure of corona radiata and tapetum fibers in ventricular surgery.

In this study the three-dimensional anatomy of the corona radiata and tapetum via the fiber dissection and diffusion tensor imaging of the brain for ventricular surgery was demonstrated. Ten formalin-fixed cerebral hemispheres were dissected for corona radiata and tapetum via Klingler's fiber dissection method under an operating microscope. The corona radiata and tapetum were dissected through lateral and medial surfaces of the cerebral hemisphere, respectively.

Comparision of the effectiveness of ESWT and ultrasound treatments in myofascial pain syndrome: randomized, sham-controlled study.

[Purpose] The purpose of this study is to compare effectiveness of extracorporeal shock wave therapy (ESWT), ultrasound (US) and sham ESWT in the treatment of myofascial pain syndrome (MPS). [Subjects and Methods] Sixty MPS patients aged 18-60 years were included in the study. The patients were randomized equally into 3 groups.
