Although her home dipsticks suggest that she has a UTI, and her urinalysis typically has a moderate number of white blood cells, her urine cultures are always negative. The challenges of this clinical presentation are discussed with evidence for evaluation and treatment.

Immunotherapy-Related Oral Adverse Effects: Immediate Sequelae, Chronicity and Secondary Cancer.

(1) Background: Immunotherapy-related adverse effects (irAEs) have been reported to manifest in oral tissues, mainly as lichenoid and non-lichenoid lesions and salivary gland dysfunction; however, the characterization of oral irAEs and their clinical impact is limited. (2) Methods: This is a retrospective clinical chart review of 14 patients with oral irAEs, describing the impact of the oral irAEs in terms of the immediate effect, treatment, chronicity of the irAEs and the development of oral cancer. (3) Results: Common symptoms were pain and dry mouth, causing no-to-severe pain and/or dry mouth sensation.

Hence, the utilization of the antioxidant immunomodulator photobiomodulation (PBM) can optimize clinical outcomes in patients who are unresponsive to standard care treatments.

Restorative dentistry clinical decision-making for hypodontia: complex cases.

Hypodontia is a relatively common condition and patients will be seen by both general dental practitioners and specialist dental colleagues. Although hypodontia can be described as mild, moderate and severe, this does not directly correlate with the complexity of treatment required to provide an acceptable outcome. In addition, the complexity of treatment provided by one colleague in the multidisciplinary team may not be the same as for other colleagues.

Data: Randomized controlled clinical trials (RCTs) investigating direct and indirect resin composite restorations in posterior permanent teeth were considered.

Sources: Several electronic databases were searched, with no language or date restrictions. The revised Cochrane Collaboration's tool for assessing risk of bias (RoB-2) was used to analyze the studies; meta-analyses were run and the certainty of evidence was assessed by the GRADE tool.

Objectives: The aim was to develop bone composites with similar working times, faster polymerisation and higher final conversion in comparison to Cortoss™. Additionally, low shrinkage/heat generation and improved short and longer-term mechanical properties are desirable.

Objective: To compare the outcomes of open healing to complete closure for collagen membrane coverage for immediate implant placements with simultaneous guided bone regeneration (GBR) in two retrospective cohorts.

Methods: The subjects included 118 patients who received Bio-Gide® collagen membrane coverage for immediate implant placements and GBR in 20 anterior and 98 posterior teeth. For 58 patients, gingival flaps were released to achieve full coverage of collagen membrane (CC group).

The purpose of this retrospective study is to determine anticholinergic exposure and prevalence of the most frequently used anticholinergic medications in adults 18-44 years of age, as well as to explore xerostomia and its association with caries status.

Recent breakthroughs in our understanding of sensorineural hearing loss etiology have encouraged the identification of novel hearing therapeutics, paving the way for precision hearing medicine. Critical to this field is the curation of health resources on hearing data. A systematic review of the literature was conducted to map existing (inter)national and regional datasets that include hearing data to inform the development of future hearing repositories.

Methods: Cross-sectional data was captured from the eight author-affiliated dental schools. A Qualtrics survey was emailed to all faculty members at these institutions (1467 possible participants) between November 2021 and February 2022.
