Breast cancer is a significant health challenge, with accurate and timely diagnosis being critical to effective treatment. Immunohistochemistry (IHC) staining is a widely used technique for the evaluation of breast cancer markers, but manual scoring is time-consuming and can be subject to variability. With the rise of Artificial Intelligence (AI), there is an increasing interest in using machine learning and deep learning approaches to automate the scoring of ER, PR and HER2 biomarker in IHC-stained images for effective treatment.

Background: The term "Multiple Primary Malignant Neoplasms (MPMNs)" refers to two or more unrelated primary malignant neoplasms that originate from single or different organs and occur in one patient. MPMNs have been divided into synchronous and metachronous based on time duration after first malignancy.
Materials And Methods: This was a hospital-based retrospective study conducted at a tertiary cancer institute in Northeast India.

Squamous cell carcinoma of the oral cavity is the most common malignancy of head and neck cancer in India. With nodal dissemination, there is a significant decrease in survival. This study is aimed at studying the impact of occult metastasis on an estimated overall survival in clinically N0 patients post neck dissection.

Skull base chordomas are a rare entity that requires multidisciplinary decision-making for management. We report a case wherein the patient was initially mismanaged at a peripheral centre, and was then redeemed by a multidisciplinary tumor board decision-making and specialized surgical procedures. We also present a brief review of the therapeutic options.

The unique case study presented here explores an exceptionally rare occurrence in an HIV-positive female-synchronous diagnoses of anal squamous cell carcinoma and diffuse large B cell lymphoma (DLBCL) of the stomach. With limited existing literature on such clinical scenarios, this case serves as an unprecedented insight into the complexities of managing such synchronous malignancies in HIV-positive patients. The article also examines the heightened risk of specific cancer types in individuals living with HIV compared to those without the virus, focusing on AIDS-defining cancers such as Kaposi sarcoma, various lymphomas (including Burkitt lymphoma, immunoblastic lymphoma, and primary central nervous system lymphoma), and invasive cervical cancer.

Head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) exhibits a higher degree of local aggressiveness as compared to a tendency for distant metastasis. Cavernous sinus metastasis from HNSCC is exceptionally rare, with only a handful of cases reported worldwide. This case series presents five instances showcasing an unusual metastatic pattern of HNSCC to the cavernous sinus, documented over one year in a single tertiary cancer care centre in Northeast India.

A 60 days study was conducted to evaluate the physiological response of indigenous species Labeo rohita (LR) and indigenous predator Chitala chitala (CC) in presence of an invasive species Piaractus brachypomus (PB). Two treatment groups as LR + PB (T1) and LR + PB + CC (T2) with individual control groups as TLR, TPB and TCC were designed in triplicates. Fingerlings of LR, PB and CC were randomly distributed into 15 circular tanks with a stocking ratio of 1:1 and 1:1:0.

Purpose: The current study aims to compare the split x-jaw planning technique of volumetric modulated arc radiotherapy (VMAT) with the traditional open and limited jaw techniques of VAMT in nasopharyngeal carcinoma treatment. The multi-leaf collimators on the varian linear accelerator move on a carriage with a maximum leaf span of 15 cm. Therefore, treatment of larger planning target volumes, such as in nasopharyngeal cancer with traditional open and limited jaw technique, yields compromised dose distribution.

Background: Recurrence rates of FIGO stage IB-IIA and IIB-IVA cervical cancer 28-64 respectively. There is a scarcity of data on the recurrence recurrence pattern for unusual sites and theirrecurrence pattern for unusual sites and its association with survival and prognosis.
Objective: To study overall survival in patients with distant metastasis compared to local and regional nodal metastasis.

Background: Cancer survival data from Population Based Cancer Registries (PBCR) reflect the average outcome of patients in the population, which is critical for cancer control efforts. Despite decreasing incidence rates, cervical cancer is the second most common female cancer in India, accounting for 10% of all female cancers. The objective of the study is to estimate the five-year survival of patients with cervical cancer diagnosed between 2012 and 2015 from the PBCRs in India.

Background: This research investigates potential connections between radiological tumour thickness determined by CT scans and various pathological prognostic factors. These factors include pathological tumour thickness (pTT), pathological depth of invasion (DOI), and positive cervical nodal metastasis. This analysis focuses on cases of clinicoradiologically node-negative squamous cell carcinoma of the buccal mucosa.

This review explores the difficulties encountered in the management of head and neck cancer (HNC), with special attention to the challenges presented by locoregional recurrences, which impact a substantial number of patients. While maximal surgical resection remains the gold standard for treatment, surgery is often not feasible due to various factors. In such cases, reirradiation has emerged as a potential strategy, albeit with a heightened risk of severe toxicity.

Surgery is the primary modality for the treatment of early oral cancer. The present study aims to evaluate the oncological outcomes, patterns of failure, and prognostic predictors of recurrence in patients of early oral cancer (Stage I and II) treated by surgery alone. It is a single institutional, observational retrospective cohort study conducted from 2012 to 2017.

This brief communication article examines the constraints posed by the Varian linear accelerator machine's volumetric-modulated arc therapy (VMAT) due to the maximum extent of the multileaf collimator (MLC) in the x-jaw direction. The MLC leaves within this machine are capable of extending up to 15 cm in the x-jaw direction. However, when VMAT is employed with excessive extension, modulation level decreases, leading to compromised target dose distribution, and the protection of critical organs.
