Purpose: To describe a safe technique for in-the-bag intraocular lens (IOL) implantation in pediatric cataract patients who undergo lens aspiration with primary posterior capsulorhexis and anterior vitrectomy.
Methods: Sixty eyes of 45 consecutive patients with congenital/developmental cataract underwent lens aspiration with primary posterior continuous curvilinear capsulorhexis (PCCC) with anterior vitrectomy and in-the-bag IOL implantation using the described technique of IOL implantation using anterior capsule as support.
Results: All eyes had stable IOL at the end of surgery and none of the eyes had lens decentration/dislocation in posterior vitreous.

Purpose: To evaluate the efficacy of valproic acid (VPA) on visual function in patients with retinitis pigmentosa (RP).
Methods: Thirty patients (60 eyes) with typical RP were recruited for the study. Of these, 15 patients received oral VPA (500 mg once daily) for a period of 1 year (group 1) and the remaining 15 received no treatment (group 2) and served as controls.

We describe the occurrence of bilateral iridocorneal endothelial (ICE) syndrome with glaucoma in a young girl with Down's syndrome. Aim: To evaluate the role of distance and near stereoacuity and fusional vergence in patients with intermittent exotropia [X(T)] and their change after surgery.
Materials And Methods: This prospective interventional institution-based clinical study included 31 cases of X(T) requiring surgery and 33 age, sex-matched controls. All subjects underwent complete orthoptic assessment including near stereopsis (Randot stereogram) and distance stereopsis by polaroid stereo-projector apparatus using special paired slides and fusional vergence assessment at distance and near prism bar at baseline and one week, one month, three months and six months after surgery in X(T).
