- * Out of 1,402 patients operated on, 22 (about 1.57%) developed COVID-19 post-surgery, with a median follow-up of 16 months and an average age of 50 years, revealing a 27.3% incidence of co-morbidities among them.
- * Results indicated that COVID-19 significantly contributed to high postoperative mortality (18.2%) and longer hospital stays, with the median duration in the ICU being 3 days and overall hospital stay

We aim to report about the clinico-pathological characteristics of early-age gastric cancer in North-East India. It is a retrospective and observational study conducted in a tertiary care cancer centre in North-East India. We reviewed physical case records and the hospital electronic medical record system.
