Introduction: Developmental speech and language disorders (DLD) constitute a group of disorders when children with normal intelligence and hearing fail to develop language in an age-appropriate manner. Peripheral embolisation after an abdominal massage.

A 65-year-old man presented with a history of acute onset pain in toes of the right foot immediately after an abdominal massage by a 'local healer'. General physical examination and systemic examination were normal except for discolouration of the fourth and fifth toes and cold toes. Investigations including complete blood count, erythrocyte sedimentation rate, renal function tests, liver profile, lipid profile, antinuclear antibody, antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibody, ECG, chest X-ray, ultrasound abdomen, cardiac echocardiography, lower limb Doppler and CT scan of the abdomen were normal.

Epidemic dropsy results from use of edible oils adulterated with Argemone mexicans oil. We report of the disease in a family caused due to sesame oil adulteration. Peculiarity to report this disease is that it occurred due to consumption of contaminated sesame seeds oil instead of mustard oiland secondly epidemic dropsy is also not very common in western Rajasthan.

Purpose: A prospective randomized case-control study conducted at a tertiary level eye care center to compare the outcomes of conjunctival autograft (CAG) with fibrin glue and CAG with patients' own blood acting as a bioadhesive in treating pterygium after surgical excision.

Methods: Twenty eyes of 20 patients with pterygium were randomly divided into 2 groups: group I (10 eyes) underwent CAG with fibrin glue and group II (10 eyes) underwent CAG with the patients' own blood coagulum acting as a bioadhesive or fixative.

Results: The time required for the surgery was compared.

Background/purpose: Gastric outlet obstruction (GOO) is overwhelmingly described as infantile hypertrophic pyloric stenosis that overshadows other causes; thereby, there is a need to develop an elaborate and comprehensive classification. We present the same and establish a new disease called primary acquired gastric outlet obstruction during infancy and childhood that was reported for the first time by us in 1997, reviewing the literature published since then, with report of our new cases.

Methods: Eight patients of this disease presented at our center from 1996 to May 2008, and these were analyzed epidemiologically and clinically.
