Introduction The risk of sudden death in patients with chronic coronary syndrome (CCS) is increased by unbalanced cardiovascular autonomic function. Since myocardial ischemia appears to be the cause of this condition of autonomic dysregulation, treating this condition should improve and correct the autonomic functions. Improving myocardial perfusion by PCI might have beneficial effects on the recovery of autonomic balance in ischemia-triggered autonomic dysregulation.

Introduction: Needlestick and sharps injuries (NSSIs) represent an existential occupational hazard risk to orthopaedic surgeons during their career due to the interaction with various devices, instruments and bone fragments. Consequently, NSSIs have the potential to transmit infections such as Hepatitis B (HBV), Hepatitis C (HCV) and Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) leading to serious illness. The purpose of this cross-sectional study was to identify the clinical settings predisposing orthopaedic surgeons to NSSIs and assess their adherence to safety protocols in the Indian context.

Herlyn-Werner-Wunderlich syndrome in females, also known as obstructed haemivagina and ipsilateral renal agenesis (OHVIRA), and Zinner's syndrome, also known as OSVIRA in males, are two rare congenital syndromes affecting the urogenital tract. OHVIRA is obstructed haemivagina and ipsilateral renal agenesis and OSVIRA abbreviation stands for obstructed seminal vesicle and ipsilateral renal agenesis. For a long, these syndromes were considered different entities, owing to our poor understanding of underlying embryopathogenesis; however, in light of the recent acceptance of the Wolffian origin of the vagina in its entirety, these two syndromes are considered to be cut from the same cloth.

The present study explores the association between linear growth and neurobehavioral outcome in preterm (<34 weeks) when evaluated by NAPI score (Neurobehavioral Assessment of Preterm Infants) at term gestational age (GA). 80 preterm neonates were enrolled for this study and divided into two groups based on the increase in length/week at term corrected gestational age (CGA). Anthropometric parameters were calculated at various time points of study and scores were calculated.
