Purpose: To investigate the efficacy of oral misoprostol administered to facilitate tandem application to the cervix as a part of brachytherapy in patients with cervical cancer.

Comparison of astigmatic keratotomy results in deep anterior lamellar keratoplasty and penetrating keratoplasty in keratoconus.

It has been estimated that almost 10% of the worldwide cancer burden is linked to human papillomavirus (HPV) infection. Although the association between HPV and bladder carcinoma has been extensively investigated, data on the role of HPV in bladder carcinogenesis are controversial. The aim of the study was to assess the possible role of human papillomavirus in the development of urothelial bladder carcinomas.

Intracranial inflammatory pseudotumor: case report and review of the literature.

Objective: Inflammatory pseudotumor is an uncommon lesion of unknown etiology most frequently involving the lungs and orbits. Primary intracranial inflammatory pseudotumors are exceptionally rare. Herein, we report a case of inflammatory pseudotumor that arises from the central nervous system in a 25-year-old man.

An adult onset Still's disease mimicking pneumonia.

Adult onset Still's disease is a rare systemic inflammatory disease of unknown origin. It is common to involve liver and spleen, and less often lungs. A 24-year-old man presenting with spiking fever, pulmonary infiltrations, and pleural effusion on the right side mimicking pneumonia.

The aim of the study was to evaluate the presence of human papillomavirus DNA in colorectal carcinomas and adenomas. Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded archival tissue samples were used for DNA extraction.

Acute abdomen due to rupture of hemangiopericytoma of the greater omentum: case report.
