Background: Diffusion Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is a useful method to evaluate tumor biology and tumor microstructure. The apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) value correlates negatively with the cellular density of the tumor.

Objective: This study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of the ADC histogram analysis in showing the relationship between breast cancer prognostic factors and ADC parameters.

Introduction: Abnormalities of the double-layered meniscus are rare and can be difficult to diagnose. Retrospective Analyses of PD-L1, LAG-3, TIM-3, OX40L Expressions and MSI Status in Gastroenteropancreatic Neuroendocrine Neoplasms.

We investigated expressions of PD-L1, LAG-3, TIM-3, and OX40L as immune checkpoint proteins, and MSI (repetitive short-DNA-sequences due to defective DNA-repair system) status were analyzed with immunohistochemistry from tissue blocks. Of 83 patients, PD-L1 expression was observed in 18.1% (n = 15) of the patients.

Dual Layer vs Single Layer Woven EndoBridge Device in the Treatment of Intracranial Aneurysms: A Propensity Score-Matched Analysis.

Background: The Woven EndoBridge (WEB) devices have been used for treating wide neck bifurcation aneurysms (WNBAs) with several generational enhancements to improve clinical outcomes. The original device dual-layer (WEB DL) was replaced by a single-layer (WEB SL) device in 2013. This study aimed to compare the effectiveness and safety of these devices in managing intracranial aneurysms.

Treatment outcomes and prognostic factors in patients with driver mutant non-small cell lung cancer and de novo brain metastases.

Central nervous system (CNS) metastases can be seen at a rate of 30% in advanced stages for patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Growing evidence indicates the predictive roles of driver gene mutations in the development of brain metastases (BM) in recent years, meaning that oncogene-driven NSCLC have a high incidence of BM at diagnosis. Today, 3rd generation targeted drugs with high intracranial efficacy, which can cross the blood-brain barrier, have made a positive contribution to survival for these patients with an increased propensity to BM.

The Added-value of Staging F-FDG PET/CT in the Prediction of Overall Survival in the Patients with Bladder Cancer.

Objectives: This retrospective study aimed to evaluate the prognostic importance of F-fluorodeoxyglucose (F-FDG)-positive pelvic lymph nodes (LNs) and extra-pelvic disease on staging F-FDG positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT) in patients with bladder cancer.

Methods: Bladder cancer patients who underwent staging F-FDG PET/CT were included in the study. Histopathologic features of tumors, therapy histories, presence of distinguishable tumors on CT and PET images, sizes and maximum standardized uptake value (SUV) of primary tumors, total numbers, sizes, and SUV of F-FDG-positive pelvic and extra-pelvic LNs, and total numbers and SUV of distant metastases (M1a/1b) were recorded.

Background: In recent years, many studies have proven that percutaneous thermal ablation is an effective second-line treatment method with low complication rates in early-stage non-small cell lung carcinoma and lung metastases. An Occupation-Based Healthy Nutrition and Wellness Program for Individuals With Schizophrenia.

This study investigated the effectiveness of an occupation-based Healthy Nutrition and Wellness Program (HNWP) on dietary knowledge, dietary habits, metabolic values, and well-being of people with schizophrenia. Forty clients attended the HNWP once a week for 12 weeks in addition to routine treatment. Metabolic values, biochemical values, dietary habits, Healthy Nutrition Knowledge Form, and Well-being Questionnaire were measured before the HNWP, after the HNWP, and at 6-month follow-up.
