Lumbar discal cyst causing bilateral radiculopathy.

Background: Discal cyst is a rare lesion that can result in clinical symptoms typical of disc herniation manifesting as a unilateral single nerve root lesion. To the best of the authors' knowledge, this is the first reported case of discal cyst resulting in bilateral radiculopathy.

Case Description: A 48-year-old female presented with bilateral sciatica and neurogenic claudication for 3 months.

Intradural spinal metastasis to the cauda equina in renal cell carcinoma: a case report and review of the literature.

Objectives: To describe a case of intradural metastasis from a renal cell carcinoma (RCC) spread to the cauda equina, and review the pertinent medical literature.

Summary Of Background Data: Intradural spinal metastasis is rare, accounting for 6% of all spinal metastases.
