Objective: This study explores the experiences of caregivers of pediatric cardiac surgery patients, aiming to deepen understanding of their role and improve the caregiving process.
Methods: A qualitative, phenomenological approach was employed using individual, semi-structured interviews with a heterogeneous sample of caregivers (both mothers and fathers) of children who had undergone surgery for congenital heart disease. Interviews were conducted face-to-face from June 2023 to May 2024, following Creswell's interview techniques.

Online interviews were also conducted with parents of children who were still undergoing treatment for corrosive esophageal ingestion.

Purpose: To compare the effects of the care bundles including chlorhexidine dressing and advanced dressings on the catheter-related bloodstream infection (CRBSI) rates in pediatric hematology-oncology patients with central venous catheters (CVCs).
Method: Twenty-seven PHO patients were recruited to participate in a prospective, randomized study in Turkey. The researcher used care bundles with chlorhexidine dressing in the experimental group (n = 14), and care bundles with advanced dressings in the control group (n = 13).

Purpose: The objective of this study was to evaluate children's postoperative symptoms at home after outpatient surgery through nurse-led telephone counseling and the effects of the nurse-led telephone counseling on parents' state-trait anxiety scores.
Design And Methods: In this prospective randomized controlled study, nurse-led telephone counseling was provided every day to parents in the intervention group until they came for the follow-up visit. Parents of children (n = 54) ages 3-17 years who had undergone outpatient surgery for appendicitis, cholecystectomy, or ovarian cysts were eligible to participate in the study.

Medication nonadherence decreases the success of clinical treatment and the efficient use of resources, thereby creating a barrier to effective health care. In this report, we describe the achievement of treatment collaboration through motivational interviews (MI) in a patient with treatment-resistant schizophrenia. In this case study, we conducted six MIs during which we asked open-ended and reflective questions, established empathy with the patient, and developed discrepancies, leading to ambivalent feelings being revealed.
