Background: The imposter phenomenon is the unwillingness to acknowledge one's triumphs, which is common among doctors. Research on the imposter phenomenon among mental health professionals is limited, and the relationship between imposter phenomenon, burnout, and compassion fatigue has not been studied. The current study intended to test a hypothesized model of the specific impact paths among burnout, compassion fatigue, maladaptive perfectionism, and imposter phenomenon among mental health professionals.

Analysis of ROMO1 Expression Levels and Its Oncogenic Role in Gastrointestinal Tract Cancers.

Gastrointestinal tract cancers account for approximately one-third of cancer-related deaths. Early diagnosis and effective treatment are the most important ways to prevent cancer-related morbidity and mortality. ROMO1 has been shown to play an important role in many types of cancer.

Prognostic value of HER2 2 + expression in patients with TNBC receiving adjuvant capecitabine.

Background: In triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) patients receiving adjuvant capecitabine, the impact of HER2 expression on survival outcomes is unclear.

Methods:  Between June 2017 and December 2023, 112 patients with TNBC who received adjuvant capecitabine due to residual masses after neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NACT) in three hospitals were identified. HER2 is analyzed through immunohistochemistry (IHC) and/or in situ hybridization in the core biopsy and/or post-surgical histopathologies.

The impact of cold application on pain and comfort during the process of diabetic foot care.

Background And Aim: Given the significance of pain management in the context of diabetic foot ulcer (DFU) care, particularly in terms of ensuring patient adherence to treatment regimens, this study was undertaken to ascertain the impact of cold washing on pain and comfort levels during diabetic foot care.

Methods: A single-blind randomized controlled trial was conducted in the chronic wound care clinic of a teaching and research hospital in the southeastern region of Turkey. The sample consisted of 68 patients, with 34 assigned to the cold application group and 34 assigned to the control group.

Atraumatic forceps-guided insertion of the cervical pessary: a new technique to prevent preterm birth in women with asymptomatic cervical shortening.

Objectives: As previous studies on the use of a cervical pessary to prevent preterm birth (PTB) have produced conflicting results, we aimed to investigate the feasibility, acceptability and safety of a new technique for inserting a cervical pessary and compare it with the traditional technique in patients at high risk of PTB.

Methods: Women at high risk of PTB treated with a cervical pessary between January 2018 and January 2021 were retrospectively evaluated. After applying exclusion criteria, a total of 68 eligible patients were identified and retrospectively analyzed.

Predicting the risk of cesarean hysterectomy in the management of placenta accreta spectrum disorders: a new model based on clinical findings and ultrasonography.

Purpose: To develop a nomogram to predict the probability of cesarean hysterectomy (CH) in placenta accreta spectrum disorders (PASD) patients.

Methods: Data from 520 patients who underwent surgery with a preliminary diagnosis of PASD at a tertiary center in southeast Turkey between 2013 and 2023 were collected, and 302 patients were included in the study. A predictive model based on clinical and ultrasonographic variables was developed using penalized maximum likelihood estimation (PMLE) regression analysis.

Methods: This study is multi-centered descriptive cross-sectional research. Data were collected between June 2022 and November 2022 in seven cities, including five teaching and research hospitals and two public hospitals.

Objectives: Quality of life (QoL) is directly associated with physical-psychological well-being, family and environmental factors in patients with Mucopolysaccharidosis (MPS). The present study aims to investigate the factors affecting QoL in both MPS patients and their caregivers.

Methods: The sociodemographic characteristics, clinical findings, and special needs of 37 patients with MPS were questioned, among which 28 pediatric patients were evaluated for QoL using the KINDL-parents scale.

Behavioral tests evaluated motor and cognitive functions, while assessing oxidative stress, Ca, glutamate, GABA, AMPAR1, and NMDAR1 levels in hippocampal tissue.

Effects of upper thoracic Mulligan mobilization on pain, range of motion and function in patients with mechanical neck pain: A randomized placebo-controlled trial.

Objective: This study aimed to assess the impact of Mulligan Reverse Natural Apophyseal Glides (RNAGS) applied to the upper thoracic region on pain, movement limitation, and function in individuals with mechanical neck pain.

Methods: Conducted between January 2021 and May 2021, the study involved 69 participants randomly assigned to a sham group, physiotherapy group, and Mulligan group. A two-week, 11-session treatment program was administered with shared physiotherapy interventions and stretching exercises to all groups.
