Introduction: Arterial and venous thrombotic events in COVID-19 cause significant morbidity and mortality. For optimal thromboprophylaxis treatment for hospitalized patients, especially those with severe COVID-19 symptoms, it is still unclear whether to use full- or therapeutic-dose versus prophylactic-dose anticoagulation therapy. The study aim was to evaluate the efficacy and safety of unfractionated heparin (UFH) for thromboprophylaxis in severe degree of COVID-19.

Objective: Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) is the most common malignancy occurring in children. Copy number alterations (CNA) like PAX5, CDKN2A/2B, PAR1 Region, ETV6, IKZF1, BTG1, and RB1 gene deletion are important genetic events that define and prognosticate B-cell ALL. Thus, this study aimed to evaluate associations of CNA with induction phase remission status in childhood B-cell ALL.

The process involves: (i) identification of the criteria for selecting the existing set of national recommendations for ACAC (ii) compilation of existing national codes or recommendations on cancer prevention (iii) reviewing the scientific evidence on cancer risk factors in Asia and (iv) establishment of one or more ACAC under the World Code Against Cancer Framework. A matrix of national codes or key recommendations against cancer in ANCCA member countries is presented.

Objective: We describe the feasibility and short-term outcome of our surgical technique to repair the lymph vessel disruption directly after axillary lymph node dissection during breast cancer surgery. This procedure is called immediate lymphatic reconstruction to prevent breast cancer treatment-related lymphedema (BCRL), which frequently occurs after axillary lymph node dissection. The surgical technique consisted of lymphaticovenous anastomosis (LVA) or lymphaticolymphatic anastomosis.

Introduction And Importance: Solitary fibrous tumor (SFT) is an uncommon mesenchymal tumor that can manifest in a variety of locations, including the retroperitoneum. The most effective standard diagnostic approach and treatment is yet to be determined due to unpredictable behavior of SFT, including retroperitoneal SFT.
Case Presentation: A 43-year-old female with a retroperitoneal SFT presented with a palpable mass and symptomatology.

Purpose: To describe the clinical presentation and treatment outcomes of children who received a diagnosis of retinoblastoma in 2017 throughout Asia.
Design: Multinational, prospective study including treatment-naïve patients in Asia who received a diagnosis of retinoblastoma in 2017 and were followed up thereafter.
Participants: A total of 2112 patients (2797 eyes) from 96 retinoblastoma treatment centers in 33 Asian countries.
About 95% of cervical cancers worldwide are caused by human papillomavirus (HPV). Cervical cancer is preventable and curable if it is detected and treated early. We reviewed the latest national cervical cancer indicators, and barriers to HPV vaccination and cervical cancer screening in 21 Asian National Cancer Centers Alliance (ANCCA) member countries.

Indonesia is a low-middle income country in Southeast Asia, as well as the world's fourth most populous and largest archipelagic nation. Indonesia has approximately 1,300 ethnic groups that speak 800 different languages and are typically collectivist and religiously devout. With an aging population and an increasing number of cancer patients, palliative care in the country remains scarcely available, disproportionally distributed, and underfunded.

Purpose: The aim of this study was to determine variability in visually assessed mammographic breast density categorization among radiologists practicing in Indonesia, the Netherlands, South Africa, and the United States.
Methods: Two hundred consecutive 2-D full-field digital screening mammograms obtained from September to December 2017 were selected and retrospectively reviewed from four global locations, for a total of 800 mammograms. Three breast radiologists in each location (team) provided consensus density assessments of all 800 mammograms using BI-RADS® density categorization.

Approximately 60%-70% of breast cancer patients in Indonesia are diagnosed in the locally advanced stage. The stage carries a higher risk of lymph node metastasis which increases susceptibility to lymph obstruction. Hence, breast cancer-related lymphedema (BCRL) could present before axillary lymph node dissection (ALND).

Objective: This study aims to evaluate the correlation between electrolytes and serial miRNAs from our previous study. We want to prove that there is the molecular basis that underlying electrolytes disturbances as the predictive indicator to the outcome in NSCLC patients.
Results: There were positive correlation between potassium level with miR-34 (p = 0.

Introduction: To achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) target 2030, the United Nations (UN) endorsed tobacco use reduction, which is essential in decreasing unnecessary deaths caused by tobacco-induced disease. This study investigates the association between tobacco use and Human Papillomavirus (HPV) infection in clinically normal uterine cervix populations from the SDGs perspective.
Methods: This study is a 7-year cross-sectional study of a clinically normal uterine cervix population, based on negative Visual Inspection of Acetic Acid (VIA).

Cyclophosphamide is a nitrogen mustard class of drugs that are often used in cancer chemotherapy. However, the use of Cyclophosphamide in high doses over a long period has been shown to increase the risk of developing secondary cancer. This can be indicated by the formation of mutagenic DNA adducts, such as O-Methylguanine.

Unlabelled: Late stage breast cancer presents with malignant wound causing skin infiltration, pain, bleeding, and malodour, which affect quality of life (QoL). Palliative mastectomy aims to eliminate wound symptoms and requires prolonged wound care to improve QoL. This study aimed to prospectively investigate QoL differences in 2 alternative reconstructive methods: keystone flap and rotational flap.

Objective: To analyze the association of FLT3-ITD mutation and FLT3 ligand plasma level with one-year survival of Indonesian acute myeloid leukemia (AML) patients.
Methods: A prospective cohort study was conducted to determine the association between FLT-3-ITD mutation and FLT3 ligand plasma level with one-year survival of Indonesian AML patients. In the study, a total of 51 AML patients were obtained from two tertiary hospitals in Indonesia from year 2018 to 2020.

Background: Locally advanced breast cancer is commonly found in Indonesia. In this group of patients, aggressive treatment such as axillary lymph nodes dissection (ALND) with or without regional nodal irradiation (RNI) will increase the risk of breast cancer treatment-related lymphedema (BCRL) in our patients. Lymphaticovenular anastomosis (LVA) has been established as a minimally invasive approach in lymphedema surgery.

Objective: Surgical margin is an important prognostic factor in solid cancer surgery. Frozen section (FS), the gold standard for intraoperative surgical margin evaluation, requires extensive waiting time and expensive FS devices. The purpose of this diagnostic study was to verify whether multi-staining (MS) method with acetic acid and iodine could be used to differentiate malignant and non-malignant lesions of solid tumor.
