Background: We aimed to present our experience on computed tomography (CT) findings of small bowel obstruction due to bezoar impaction.
Methods: CT scans of seven patients (3 males, 4 females, age range; 30-93 years) who were diagnosed as small bowel obstruction due to bezoars were reviewed.
Results: In each patient, an intraluminal mass with a mottled gas pattern on CT enabled specific preoperative diagnosis of bezoars, and postoperative changes such as anastomotic lines and afferent-efferent loops.

Objectives: Spondylolisthesis is the forward displacement of a lumbar vertebra relative to the adjacent vertebra, occurs as result degeneration or surgery and is a special type of lumbar instability. There is no consensus about which radiologic modality or findings truly reflect the lumbar instability and the exact incidence after single level disk surgery is unknown.
Methods: In this prospective study, we have included 90 patients who were operated by the same surgeon with single level disk herniation.

Purpose: To determine the diagnostic accuracy values of sonography in the detection of renal stones using noncontrast CT as the gold standard. In addition, we correlated the accuracy of sonography with stone size, the kidney affected (right versus left), and body mass index (BMI).
Methods: Fifty patients underwent 2 separate sonographic examinations performed by 2 radiologists.

Background And Purpose: The aim is to assess the magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) findings for cranial bone marrow (CBM) signal intensity and thickness in patients with chronic anemia and compared these with findings in healthy subjects. We also investigated the relationships between CBM changes and age, type of anemia (hemolytic versus non-hemolytic), and severity of anemia.
Methods: We quantitatively evaluated CBM signal intensity and thickness on images from 40 patients with chronic anemia (20 with congenital hemolytic anemia (HA) and 20 with acquired anemia) and compared these to findings in 28 healthy subjects.

Objective: Color Doppler ultrasonography is the most widespread diagnostic procedure in obstructive disease of the arteries supplying the brain. To our knowledge, there are only a few correlative color Doppler ultrasonographic and angiographic studies of the vertebral arteries, especially in patients who have flow-restrictive stenosis at the carotid bifurcation. The main purpose of this prospective study was to evaluate diameter, flow volume, and time-averaged mean velocities of angiographically verified normal vertebral arteries without collateral flow.

We present two cases of subclavian steal syndrome from the ipsilateral vertebral artery (VA) to the subclavian artery (SCA), one with the left VA originating from the aortic arch and the other with the left VA originating very close to the origin of the SCA, proximal to the occluded segment. In both cases, angiographic demonstration of these anatomic variations and successful endovascular treatment are presented.

We report the radiologic presentations of two cases of peritoneal-pelvic tuberculosis. The initial interpretation based on the adnexal masses, ascites, omental and peritoneal thickening, and elevated serum CA-125 levels led to an erroneous preliminary diagnosis of disseminated ovarian cancer. In both patients, histologic examination showed tuberculosis.
