Objective: To evaluate risk factors contributing to side-specific benign ureteroenteric strictures following radical cystectomy with an ileal conduit.
Materials And Methods: Data obtained from patients with bladder cancer who underwent radical cystectomy with ileal conduit surgery between 2015 and 2018 were retrospectively analysed. Imaging prior to surgery was analysed, regarding calcifications in the aorta, sarcopenia and postoperatively for length of remaining left ureter.
Balloon pulmonary angioplasty improved hemodynamics, walking distance, and World Health Organization functional class in patients with chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension not eligible for pulmonary endarterectomy (Non-PEA) and patients with persistent pulmonary hypertension after PEA (PEA). More mild complications were observed in PEA- compared to Non-PEA.

Our previous findings of poorer neurodevelopmental outcomes in individuals operated for simple congenital heart defects calls for further etiological clarification. Hence, we examined the microstructural tissue composition in cerebral cortex and subcortical structures in comparison to healthy controls and whether differences were associated with neurodevelopmental outcomes.

Methods and Results Since the protocol was initiated, 102 patients have been referred for revascularization according to the following high-risk criteria: severe renal artery stenosis (≥70%) with true resistant hypertension, rapidly declining kidney function, or recurrent heart failure/sudden pulmonary edema. At baseline, the mean 24-hour ambulatory systolic blood pressure was 166.

Introduction: Distant metastases are found in the many of patients with lung cancer at time of diagnosis. Several diagnostic tools are available to distinguish between metastatic spread and benign lesions in the adrenal gland. However, all require additional diagnostic steps after the initial CT.

We aimed to investigate this in a nation-wide study with focus on the potential modifying effect of socioeconomic status. Methods and Results We performed a cohort study using Danish nation-wide registers between 1997 and 2014.

However, few long-term follow-up data exist on ischemic stroke risk and associated mortality in adults with CHD. Methods and Results Using Danish nationwide registries, we identified individuals aged ≥18 years diagnosed with CHD, at any age, from 1963 to 2017 and a sex and birth year-matched (1:10) general population comparison cohort.
