Objectives: The aim of this study was to determine whether there are differences in the biochemical blood parameters between individuals with Cognitive Disengagement Syndrome (CDS) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and to investigate the relationship between vitamin levels and these disorders, as well as their impact on symptom severity.
Methods: The study included 35 patients with ADHD, 35 patients with both ADHD and CDS, and 35 healthy control subjects who presented to the child and adolescent psychiatry outpatient clinic between January 2022 and 2023, matched for age and gender. Children aged 7-15 were included in the study.

Personality is an essential variable in order to understand the course of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). Among the studies investigating the relationship between OCD and personality traits, the most common finding is that individuals diagnosed with OCD was reported to have higher levels of Harm Avoidance (HA) trait compared to healthy controls. In addition, OCD group was found to have lower scores regarding Self- Directedness (SD), Cooperativeness (C) or Novelty Seeking (NS).

Introduction: Migraine and epilepsy are two episodic disorders that share common pathophysiological mechanisms. The aim of our research was to assess the possible shared etiopathogenesis by analyzing the relations of headache, and seizure triggers, based on information obtained from a national cohort surveying the headache characteristics of 809 patients who had been diagnosed with idiopathic/genetic epilepsy.
Material And Methods: Our study utilized data from a multi-center, nationwide investigation of headaches in 809 patients with idiopathic/genetic epilepsy.

This multi-center study aimed to investigate PIH, which is an ignored comorbid condition in patients with I/GE, by headache experts and epileptologists working together.
Methods: The data were collected from a cross-sectional large study, using two structured questionnaires for headache and epilepsy features, fulfilled by neurologists.

Aims: Our study used statistical analysis to determine whether there was a correlation between shape changes in the CC in patients with schizophrenia (SZ) (deficit syndrome (DS) and non-deficit syndrome (NDS)) and healthy control (HC) subjects.

It is known that quality of life in myasthenia gravis is positively correlated with subjective sleep quality, still no data is available regarding the relationship between QOL and polysomnographically detected sleep parameters and disorders. In this study, we tried to highlighten this relationship, by performing polysomnography. Introduction: Recently, different dressing styles and attitudes of psychiatrists have been proposed to enhance the interaction between patients and the physician. The aim of the present study was to investigate the preferences of dressing style and attitudes of a psychiatrist of the patients referred to an outpatient psychiatry clinic and the perception of psychiatrists regarding the preferences of the patients.
Methods: One hundred and fifty-three patients referred to the outpatient psychiatry clinic of the Bülent Ecevit University School of Medicine, and 94 psychiatrists have been included in the present study.

Objective: In this study we aimed to investigate the prevalance and clinical correlations of night eating syndrome (NES) in a sample of psychiatric outpatients.
Method: Four hundred thirthy three consecutive psychiatric out-patients older than 18years were evaluated in the outpatient clinics using clinical interview according to the DSM-IV with regard to psychiatric diagnosis. Participants were also screened for presence of NES utilizing both clinical interview and self report based on Night Eating Questionnaire (NEQ) instruments.

Introduction: Cognitive impairment in elderly patients, which may be a sign of dementia, depression, anxiety or medical diseases, has been determined as a risk factor for functional loss. In this study, we aimed to investigate the frequency of cognitive impairment and to investigate the relationship of cognitive status with sociodemographic variables, daily living activities, anxiety and depression in elderly inpatients.
Method: The sample of this cross-sectional and descriptive study consists of 243 patients aged 65 years and older who were hospitalized in Bülent Ecevit University Hospital.

Background: The main aim of the present study was to examine whether ruminative thinking styles (brooding and reflection) mediate the effects of dysfunctional attitudes on depressive symptoms.
Methods: 120 psychotropic drug-naive first episode depression patients recruited from Bulent Ecevit University School of Medicine psychiatry department and Zonguldak State Hospital psychiatry department outpatient clinics were involved in the study. Participants completed the Structured Clinical Interview for DSM-IV Axis I Disorders (SCID-I), Beck Depression Inventory (BDI), Dysfunctional Attitude Scale (DAS) and Ruminative Responses Scale (RRS-short version).
