Introduction: There is a lack of large multicentric studies in children with COVID-19 from developing countries. We aimed to describe the clinical profile and risk factors for severe disease in children hospitalized with COVID-19 from India.

Methods: In this multicentric retrospective study, we retrieved data related to demographic details, clinical features, including the severity of disease, laboratory investigations and outcome.

Introduction: Hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (HLH) is an immune deregulation disorder with varied clinical presentation which clinically overlaps with widespread tropical infections.

Methods: We conducted a retrospective chart review of children diagnosed with HLH at our center from February-2017 to October-2020.

Results: Out of the nine diagnosed patients, genetic predisposition was present in three children; two had identified infectious triggers.

Single-Centre Open-Label Comparative Trial of Video-Assisted Fibreoptic-Bronchoscope-Guided Oral Versus Nasal Intubation in Anaesthetised Spontaneously Breathing Paediatric Patients.

Objective: Flexible fibreoptic intubation is challenging in paediatric patients. Very few studies have compared fibreoptic intubation via oral and nasal routes in children. We hypothesised that the total time to a successful fibreoptic-guided tracheal intubation would be faster through the nasal route when compared to the oral route.

Dissemination of Best Practices in Preterm Care Through a Novel Mobile Phone-Based Interactive e-Learning Platform.

Objective: To describe an innovative interactive e-learning method to disseminate knowledge to larger group of participants over a wide geographical area.

Methods: The course material included standard training tool "Best Practices in Preterm Care," hosted on Telegram, a cloud-based instant messaging platform. The participants were enrolled in the group created on Telegram by the facilitators and included in-service nurses from India, Bhutan, Bangladesh, and UAE.

COVID-19 with and without anosmia or dysgeusia: A case-control study.

Objective: The sternoclavicular joint (SCJ), an important link between the appendicular and axial skeleton, though involved in 41% of rheumatoid arthritis patients, has not been studied in juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA). Methods: This report combines the input of members of the Standardization Committee of the International Continence Society in a Working Group with recognized experts in the field, assisted by many external referees. Appropriate core clinical categories and a subclassification were developed to give a numeric coding to each definition.

Acute kidney injury in dengue among hospitalized children: A prospective view.

Dengue viral infection (DVI) has emerged as one of the most common arthropod borne diseases and is more prevalent in the tropical countries. Erector spinae plane block using clonidine as an adjuvant for excision of chest wall tumor in a pediatric patient.
