Microfilaments, composed of global actins, involve in many important physiological activities, such as the maintenance of cell shape and cell migration. Actin-related protein 2/3 ( Arp2/3) complex plays a key role in microfilament formation. Actin-related protein 2/3 ( Arp2/3 ) complex which is composed of seven different subunits is subjected to the modulation of many nucleation promoting factors (NPFs) and cooperates with these factors to regulate the actin nucleation.
