Coronary atherosclerosis (or coronary heart disease [CHD]) is a common cardiovascular disease that seriously damages human health. Percutaneous coronary stent implantation represents the primary treatment option for severe CHD in clinical practice; meanwhile, dual antiplatelet therapy (DAPT) is widely used to reduce the risk of postoperative thrombosis. Although the mechanisms of action of the two most commonly used antiplatelet drugs, aspirin and clopidogrel, remain unclear, clinical studies have shown that some patients are susceptible to stent thrombosis-antiplatelet resistance (high on-treatment platelet reactivity [HTPR])-despite using these drugs.

By conducting genetic testing of hereditary hearing loss in pregnant women within 17 weeks of gestation in Dali areas, the importance of genetic testing and genetic counseling during pregnancy was emphasized. Twenty-one mutation sites of 4 hearing loss genes, including , , and , were detected by PCR amplification technology. The positive ratio, mutation ratio and ethnic distribution of positive samples were statistically described.

To analyze the surgical efficacy and safety of tympanoplasty with and without mastoidectomy for the treatment of active simple chronic suppurative otitis media（CSOM）, and to investigate whether mastoidectomy can be avoided in tympanoplasty for active CSOM. The clinical data of 55 patients（55 ears） with active CSOM were retrospectively analyzed. Based on the development of the mastoid process and the upper tympanic chamber, patients who met the criteria for wall-up mastoidectomy were classified as group A （30 patients）, and underwent tympanoplasty combined with wall-up mastoidectomy.

Background: Subjective cognitive decline (SCD) is a putative Alzheimer's disease (AD) precursor without objective neuropsychological deficits. The hippocampus plays an important role in cognitive function and emotional responses and is generally aberrant in SCD. However, previous studies have mainly focused on static functional connectivity (sFC) by resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) in SCD individuals, and it remains unclear whether hippocampal dynamic functional connectivity (dFC) changes exist in SCD and whether those changes are associated with subtle changes in cognitive function or affect.

Shared and specific dynamics of brain activity and connectivity in amnestic and nonamnestic mild cognitive impairment.

Aims: The present study aimed to compare temporal variability in the spontaneous fluctuations of activity and connectivity between amnestic MCI (aMCI) and nonamnestic MCI (naMCI), which enhances the understanding of their different pathophysiologies and provides targets for individualized intervention.

Methods: Sixty-five naMCI and 48 aMCI subjects and 75 healthy controls were recruited. A sliding window analysis was used to evaluate the dynamic amplitude of low-frequency fluctuations (dALFF), dynamic regional homogeneity (dReHo), and dynamic functional connectivity (dFC).

Background: Odor identification (OI) dysfunction is an early marker of Alzheimer's disease (AD), but it remains unclear how olfactory-related regions change from stages of subjective cognitive decline (SCD) and mild cognitive impairment (MCI) to AD dementia.

Methods: Two hundred and sixty-nine individuals were recruited in the present study. The olfactory-related regions were defined as the regions of interest, and the grey matter volume (GMV), low-frequency fluctuation, regional homogeneity (ReHo), and functional connectivity (FC) were compared for exploring the changing pattern of structural and functional abnormalities across AD, MCI, SCD, and normal controls.

Methods: A case-control study was performed using data for pregnant women with pre-eclampsia, normotensive pregnant women, and nonpregnant women, for all of whom serum samples had been collected at a hospital in Shanghai, China, between December 2012 and December 2013. Ultra-performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry was used to measure the serum levels of 19 eicosanoids.
