Laryngeal cancer has the second highest incidence of head and neck malignant tumors worldwide. In recent years, studies have shown that human papillomavirus (HPV) infection may be a high-risk factor for laryngeal cancer and closely related to the development and prognosis of laryngeal cancer. The mechanism of the occurrence and development of laryngeal cancer caused by HPV infection needs investigation, as does a rapid and effective HPV detection method for effectively preventing the occurrence of laryngeal cancer and controlling its development.

Most of the common dizziness/vertigo diseases in otology clinic are peripheral vertigo diseases, and while about 20% -30% of all vertigo diseases are caused by central nervous system diseases. Pseudo vestibular neuritis, acute ischemic stroke with audiovestibular loss, and central paroxysmal positional vertigo are the three types of central "malignant vertigo" diseases which are most easily misdiagnosed by otologists. This article described the clinical characteristics and bedside physical performance of these three diseases, and summarized the differential diagnosis points for clinical reference.

Purpose: This study investigated the characteristics of tumor-associated immune cells (TAICs) in laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC) and their correlation with clinicopathological variables.
Methods: The immune cell infiltrates of 71 specimens of stages I-IV LSCC were examined. The density of TAICs expressing CD3, CD4, CD8, CD68, and CD163 was assessed using immunohistochemical staining and image analysis in peritumoral and intratumoral regions.

To explore the clinical efficacy of unilateral vidian neurectomy following endoscopic trans-sphenoethmoidal recess approach in treating allergic rhinitis. The clinical data of 80 patients with moderate-severe allergic rhinitis who underwent unilateral vidian neurectomy following endoscopic trans-sphenoethmoidal recess approach were reviewed retrospectively. Through the detection of the serum 25 (OH) D level of patients with moderate to severe allergic rhinitis (AR), we preliminarily explored the mechanism of vitamin D on AR and provided evidence for the control of AR. Eighty cases of moderate to severe AR and 65 healthy adults were selected as the subjects. The level of 25 (OH) D was detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), and the serum 25 (OH) D level of eight common serum allergens in patients with moderate to severe AR was analyzed.

To build a digital cross-sectional images date set of human normal larynx with high-precision.A fresh frozen normal human larynx was embedded using Kawamot's Film Method and then serially sectioned at 10 μm with a LeicaCM3600XP Cryomacrotome, meanwhile digital images of the block surface were recorded after every section with a Nikon D750 camera and stored respectively as JPG and RAW files. Objective: To research the effects of recombinant human beta-defensin-3 (hBD-3) on expression of interleukin-17A (IL-17A) and interleukin-22 (IL-22) in BEAS-2B cell.
Methods: The BEAS-2B cells were stimulated with different concentrations of hBD-3 for 6 hours and 24 hours, respectively. Toll-like receptor 2 (TLR2), IL-17A and IL-22 mRNA expression levels were determined by real-time PCR, and the expression levels of IL-17A and IL-22 protein were examined by enzyme linked immune-sorbent assay.
