Purpose: To determine the scope and accuracy of medical information provided by ChatGPT-4 in response to clinical queries concerning total shoulder arthroplasty (TSA), and to compare these results to those of the Google search engine.
Methods: A patient-replicated query for 'total shoulder replacement' was performed using both Google Web Search (the most frequently used search engine worldwide) and ChatGPT-4. The top 10 frequently asked questions (FAQs), answers, and associated sources were extracted.

Discogenic back pain is multifactorial; hence, physicians often struggle to identify the underlying source of the pain. As a result, discogenic back pain is often hard to treat-even more so when clinical treatment strategies are of questionable efficacy. Based on a broad literature review, our aim was to define discogenic back pain into a series of more specific and interacting pathologies, and to highlight the need to develop novel approaches and treatment strategies for this challenging and unmet clinical need.

Background: Modularity at the head-neck junction in total hip arthroplasty allows for intraoperative adjustments but may be a source of metallic debris. We determined how flexural rigidity, taper angle, contact length, and lever arm affect fretting and corrosion at this junction.
Methods: A total of 77 metal-on-polyethylene total hip arthroplasties retrieved over a 10-year period at a single institution were obtained.
